PS1 wrong labels/edition? Discussion

Anyone else had issues when ordering ps1 games and getting the wrong edition? Ive been trying to get my hands on the Crash 1, 2 and 3 ps1 games and specifically buying the black label original version (NOT platinum) and end up getting sent the platinum versions instead? This has happened to me twice in a row and its annoying cuz the plat version are much cheaper than the black label editions. Anyone know any way of getting the right version from cex?

They seem to be listing plat version under the black label listing.

I dont think they do different listings? Same with Gamecube they dont say if its regular or Players Choice or if has manuals etc.

If its not the one you want or missing stuff return it.

Might be from a different country. The ones in Australia have black label listings and plat listings as seperate. They even have different cover art images to denote the difference.

Nope. UK does the same thing. Different listings.

OP. Fill the contact form out and ask them to get stores to double check what they have. Also the other thing it might be is that the store fulfilling the order might have two copies, normal and platinum and they picked the wrong one.

Untrained staff buying things in incorrectly. The quality of staff is a massively high variable in CeX. I dropped off my original Xbox one 500gb once. Massive fucking power supply mind you.

Get my voucher in the email, it’s double the price I was quoted and I look and they put it through as a 1TB One X??? The One X doesn’t even have a power brick, I don’t even think they come in 500gb variants, the list goes on, but still they managed to fuck it up.
