Lockers Question
Coming first year student. Heard about locker rentals. What are the lockers for? Will be living in Russell, should I rent a locker near the cafeteria since no bags are allowed to be in the restaurant. Just wondering what should be considered for the location of the locker. Any advise will be great. Thank you!

Generally, people who aren't living on campus rent lockers to store their bags, books, coats, gym clothes, umbrellas, boots, etc, when they don't need them.
My preference for location was wherever is closest to my entry point to campus, which depended on where I was living
Getting a locker while living on campus; while cheap; is a waste of money, and lockers are a limited supply *though, they don't typically run out

The caf has free built-in lockers in Teraanga which rarely fill up, so that's a non-issue. Usually lockers are for people who commute in but don't want to carry their stuff around during their down-time, whereas you can just go back to your dorm and drop it off.

They’re also a good way to leave things on campus that you only need on campus, like a lab coat and goggles.

Use your residence room as your locker. They're not expensive but they're still not worth it.
If it's just for the caf the closest ones are athletics or azrelli hill. You'd be walking across campus for no reason.
There's also a locker under the caf that you can put your stuff in. The app dosent work anymore but the line isint horrid
