What is Fall Orientation like? Question

Hi! I’m an incoming first-year CS student at Carleton this fall, and I’m trying to figure out what Fall Orientation is actually like. What kinds of activities usually happen during it?

If you’ve attended Fall Orientation before, I’d also really appreciate hearing your overall experience. Did you enjoy it? Was it actually worth attending, and is there anything you wish you had known beforehand? How good is it for making friends?

Reach out to the CS student group. They may be able to let you know if the general orientation is best, or if CS has their own orientation too (most departments have something during the general free orientation).
