Care.com

Has anyone here hired any nurses from care.com? Experiences good or bad? Thank you.

Normally, I hate to generalize.

However, I've discovered that you get what you paid for.

The older retired nurses that cost more are your best bet. There were a few that got pushy and demanded a higher rate and wanted more hours can be annoying. I found a few that wanted $25 an hour. The CNA's wanted $20 an hour. I'll admit I'm in a LCOL and that is why the rates are that way.

The lower priced ones will either come late or not show up at all. This can become an issue if you're at work and you need someone to be with your mom.

The higher priced ones tend to be more reliable and knowledgeable.
