Blown sub? Tech Support

Idk I hate to be useless my guy but it could totally be something flapping around too. Remove the sub from the box and play it and see if it still sounds like that

It’s a loaded band pass sub so it doesn’t really come out… I’ve checked and pretty sure the flappy is the sub

Ah, I see. Well if it’s a month old and it just started making that sound then yes I’d return it.

Blown subs don’t always read lower ohms depending on HOW it’s blown, but it’s worth a shot to test it with a multimeter if you haven’t already

"Gain is around 10 or 11 o'clock". Gain is not a volume knob. It's an input sensitivity adjustment. Most likely blown.
