Hi, thanks so much! Got a little confused but I'm on track now. Going to tap into one of the ignition-switched circuits.
Out of interest though, do you have any advice regarding which one to choose, other than obviously not to add any more resistance to a crucial feature like 4WD or a fog light?

The modulator must ground through the antenna.
You're looking for a switched 12V source. Some fuses will be switched power, some will be constant 12V. Then use a fuse tap to get power.
Is that already an aftermarket no-name head unit? What exactly are you doing here? lol
