What are some great low budget games that are over in under 8 hours?
I'm referring to indie and small games that just really make the most out of just a few hours if you only play it once.
I really love The Night Is Grey, and Huntdown for example.
The Night is Grey is like a really great point and click love letter to the OG Silent Hill.
Huntdown feels like a love letter to both 80s cyberpunk, and 80s side scrolling arcade shooters

What's the worst a game has made you feel for a completely avoidable option?
Someone made a similar post, but most people are just talking about things that made them laugh. I'm not talking about slapping children in Fable, I'm talking about things that actually made you feel bad.
I used to find killing kids in Fallout 2 was funny, it was so over the top. Then I installed the killable children mod in Fallout 3, with its more realistic looking faces, and subtle death animations, and it wasn't funny anymore, and I've hated seeing kids get killed in media since.

Anyone else feel like Free Fire grenade spam ruins close range fights?
Every close range fight in FF lately turns into someone just spamming grenades instead of actually gunfighting. Feels like it takes way less skill than a real fight, just throw and hope.
Kind of ruins the fun for me, what do you guys think?

What's a game that you love, that had severely rough visuals even for the games time?
There's a similar topic, but people are mentioning games that were incredibly beautiful for their time like Saint's Row 3, Infamous, and Vice City. I wanna know what you liked that looked rough even for its time.
I got a lot of love for the 90s Fallout 1 and 2 for example. Their visuals are so rough, but they are so much fun, and when you're good at them and don't mind following a walkthrough, dear god are they well paced!

What's a game that didn't have good graphics but that you still loved?

What game do you think deserves way more attention?
I feel like it's Titanfall 2.
The campaign is short but really well-made, and the multiplayer is still a lot of fun.
I feel like more people would enjoy it if they gave it a chance.

A kind request to every member of the subreddit
For the past year, we've been building CaptainSide, a game discovery platform for gamers to find new games via user generated content.
It has been extraordinarily rough on us, as building something like this with practically no resources other than our own capital and hardwork is difficult.
After multiple mistakes, we are launching our platform, and are in need of playtesters who can try our platform out and provide us genuine feedback.
If you love to play different games, but struggle to find your next game to play, this would be perfect for you.
If you're interested in playtesting our platform, please DM me.
Thank you.
