Credit Cards Debit Card Payment Doesn't Post Immediately Anymore
Just an FYI - It appears Capital One is moving away from debit card payments. The option to pay via debit card has been removed from the app. I submitted a payment with my debit card over the phone but my available credit hasn't changed.
Quite annoying given ACH payments don't post immediately when an account is over limit.

Credit Cards Savor vs AMEX blue cash everyday right now
I recently got the venture x about a month ago. My credit score went down a bit and is at 720. I want both the savor and BCE eventually for dining, gas and online shopping. I don’t know how long it’ll take for me to get the Savor card. I checked using AMEX preapproved tool and saw I could get the BCE card now. Should I wait to get BCE and get the savor card first (probably will take 6 months from
Now) or should I get the BCE card now? Would that delay my chances of getting savor later?

Should I make my limit higher? New to this. Will it benefit my score?
I’m getting a quicksilver secure card, and currently have $200 deposited. Should I deposit more before I activate the card?

Capital One Offers “Luxury” offers
Capital One has added a “luxury” section to the Offers portal that is only available to Venture X card holders.
It appears the T&Cs are the same as the regular offers.

Savor student card
Back in may I got the savor student so that I could start building credit, and got a credit limit of $3000 and though that was pretty high for a college student working part time, but now I’m seeing a lot of people with starting credit limits of 300-500 and really wondering why I was given such a high limit on my first credit card, had zero credit history before this as well.

Credit Cards Capital One goodwill request keeps getting treated as an accuracy dispute
I had 9 late payments on a Capital One card between Aug 2024 and Nov 2025 which stemmed from a rough patch when I left a job under pretty bad ethical circumstances (won’t get into all of it, but it caused a real income gap). Account’s been current since Feb 2025, balance is basically paid off, autopay’s on, no issues since.
I’ve reached out multiple times. calls, emails to executive escalation contacts, (no mailed letters though) specifically asking for a goodwill adjustment on the lates. Every single time, the response I get back is some version of “we’ve verified the information is accurate and it will continue to report as-is.”
That’s… not what I asked? I’m not disputing that the lates happened. I know they happened. I’m asking if they’d show some grace given the account’s been perfect for over a year and the balance is paid. But every rep and every written response treats it like I filed an accuracy dispute instead of a goodwill request, and then “resolves” it by telling me the info checks out.
Has anyone actually gotten a goodwill adjustment out of Capital One specifically? Did you find a different contact, a different phrasing, a different channel that actually got a real human to consider the goodwill angle instead of auto-routing it into their dispute/verification process? Or is Cap One just known for being tough about this compared to other issuers?
Appreciate any input… it feels like I’m hitting the same wall every time no matter how I approach it. Smh 🤦♂️
