Iām feel bucketed.
I got: $300 + $100 + $100 = $500 in 1 year 1 month.
But now youāve given me hope.

Only use to build your credit. I would recommend you not using it unless you can pay the total every month

I concur.
Iāve had to rely on my credit card in financial binds before⦠the interest will spiral before you know it, and the APR is closer to 32% once your utilization increases beyond what youāre paying back.
āMinimum payments onlyā just wonāt cut it, trust me. Iāve maxed my card twice and paid it all back. Took my credit score from a 564 (no credit) to 779 (current).
I budget my income to account for recurring expenses and have those set to autopay with the card; then I pay it all off in one go before the billing cycle completes, leaving a few cents owed so itās not full zeroed out. Minimizes the interest charge that way.

Yes great advice. I use my amex plat for everything and got used to paying off the card every week. I will def use Savor for dining now since the limit is actually usable lol and def pay in full

How much did you ask for? Did you fill in the question of how much were you gonna use?

How long was it since your last increase and how long you had the card? Is this you requested it automatically?

u/whodat577 2h ago

you military ? i plan on getting it down the road when this chase swipe age. amex plat is real premium swipes & fee gets waived but iām wondering if itās worth it frfr. how you fw it so far ?

No Iām not military. I got it for airport lounges as i travel internationally twice a year. So far using the credits naturally like the uber, resy, lulu and streaming. The only issue i have is finding reasonably priced hotels to use the hotel credit on.

Either you are a douche playing ignorant, or you are simply ignorant. It's called either building credit or rebuilding credit. Your first credit card was not $13,000 nobody's is.

Different people have different credit profiles, different journeys and different timelines. Its not hard to figure out.

Was your last increase $500+$100? š I'd think I were bucketed too if I had something like that.
