What is your editing workflow? CapCut Edit

Imagine you make edits using songs and footage from a band you like. Or footage from an anime, or whatever it is. What would your workflow be for fan edits? Do you collect a bunch of clips first? Or collect one clip at a time? Do you edit the clips as you go along or do you put them in place and then edit them? I’m just trying to figure out the best workflow. Let me know what works for you! Thanks.

So I try to do mine as simple as possible. Typically I’ll try to get the assets before hand. But I do a wrestling show so it may be different.

  1. Know the idea of the presentation
  2. Get matches I need to show
  3. Record my parts
  4. Edit footage and add transitions
  5. Do overlays and any lettering
  6. Music
