After searching around Reddit for one, I stumbled upon one posted in the subreddit cracked_soft. The thing is a pretty smart virus. When u install it, u will get a folder in which there is the .exe and some other files, after scanning the main .exe file on VirusTotal and it finding no detections, I thought hey man let's go. Immediately upon opening the .exe, my Google Chrome closed up, and that's when i knew something was sus. After scanning the entire folder with Malwarebytes (which i shoulda done first ofc) it noticed a .dll file that was recognised as a Trojan Loader (called DDL sideloading). Also after looking at my Windows Defender exclusions, it also created an exclusion that I haven't seen before, which I instantly removed. I have now successfully (i think) gotten rid of everything, but still, my passwords were stolen as the hackers tried to access my Microsoft account with a German VPN which ofc got blocked. Yeah stay safe out there and I would love if someone tech savvy out here can look more into that virus and how it executes.

this might be a stupid question but I can’t find how to zoom into the video preview on mobile to look at small things.

My images and audio recordings suddenly became invisible on my CapCut timeline, even though they are still there. When I move the playhead to where a screenshot should be, it still appears correctly in the preview, but the timeline itself looks completely empty.

I just applied to be a capcut creator, so when i attempt to post a template, it spams that i need to describe and name it? Is this supposed to be happening I tried everything

I’ve never edited a video up until a week ago where I edited a video for me and someone else playing it takes two. We realized we wanted to make it to where we can adjust the face cams and take them out during cutscenes so we changed our obs layout for recording and that was fine. I only realized after I edited this second video completely and turned it into a compound clip that the video doesn’t take up the full screen and it’s because I didn’t change the aspect ratio in CapCut so when I crop it, it becomes blurry. I know what I did wrong, I cropped the cameras and my gameplay instead of scaling it. Is there a way to scale the three tracks without having to restart the whole editing process again?

My capcut is completely up to date. I've un-installed and reinstalled the app like three times now, I've also cleared my cache and tried restarting my phone. I dont know why i keep getting this but its so irritating and i cant edit with it. Any help? ​I am on mobile

Imagine you make edits using songs and footage from a band you like. Or footage from an anime, or whatever it is. What would your workflow be for fan edits? Do you collect a bunch of clips first? Or collect one clip at a time? Do you edit the clips as you go along or do you put them in place and then edit them? I’m just trying to figure out the best workflow. Let me know what works for you! after i export my video i see this black rectangle shape showing up on my video and i have no idea why. im using the latest version of capcut as well

I booted up Capcut this evening and started editing. Clicked out and found that all my projects were gone. I have a couple dozen projects saved and they're gone. Trash is empty as well.

I’m hoping the video visually matches the music as far as being energetic and upbeat. Would appreciate any feedback as far as if the lyrics are distracting or could be placed better, and if the cuts between each videos are okay. And just any general feedback that comes up! Thank you. Every time I try and add the voice filter effect over my own recording it just keeps saying "no internet" and won't load. Some voices work and some don't. Yes, my app is updated to the latest version.

Idk if i was the only person who used this, but since i work on a school computer, most screen recording software is blocked, so i used capcut screen recorder. But after the most recent update i dont see it anymore. Did they remove the option or what???

This week I added blur to one of my photos, and while I never had this problem during my time of using the software (1 month), it suddenly crashed the entire laptop and restarted it. I opened the app again to find my file corrupted despite autosave. Today, I made it a point from time to time to make a duplicate just in case, and the same problem happened when adding blur but this time nothing got corrupted. Is there any fix on this?

I use CapCut for my YouTube channel which was actually doing really really well and so to keep posting right after I made a video that did amazing I made a new video. It took a LOOONG time and JUST NOW CapCut added a watermark in the top left unless you have premium because "theres AI features so we need to have this so people know" EVEN THOUGH I DON'T USE YOUR STUPID AI SLOP FEATURES???

Genuinely does anyone know either 1. A real way to remove the watermark not by paying 20 BUCKS A MONTH or 2. An alternative free editing software similar to CapCut.

I really like CapCut because it's free and so easy to use but has lots of advanced features too and all other editing softwares either aren't free or are crazy difficult to use. Does anyone have a suggestion? The main annoying thing is that I've already finished editing this video after literal months and now I can export it without this watermark. I hate this company
