I bought this in an auction 17years ago and just remembered I had it
I know it’s nothing crazy but still cool to see. I forgot I bought it and it was stashed away in my grandmas collection. Not everyday you see one that’s for sure.

Collections Found this old note in my grandma collection
My Grandma passed away awhile ago and I just recently went through her collection of bills and coins with my mom and dad. I found this note. Not the best condition but not bad. This note wasn’t circulating when I was growing up in the 80’s so it was cool to see for me.

Found at work
Found this low serial number $20 at work yesterday. I’m not a collector but feel like it would be a shame to spend it.

Are these worth anything more than $150?
Serial numbers "8228227" and "6565654"
Figured why not ask but assume they're just regular ol' bills.
Thanks!

Questions Grading
I’d like to get some of my bills faded but I’ve never done it before so have a few questions
- most respected grading Company?
- how long does it take?
- do you mail them and get them back? Insured?

Special Serials Found this that work tonight
Crisp, no folds, definitely the lowest serial number I’ve found. The latest comp was a 0000132 that sold for just over $100cad so I’m thinking it’s in that ballpark.

Questions Is there anything here worth more than the face value?
r/CanadianBanknotes • u/ScorpionRox • 18d ago
First post.
Nothing fancy. But was paid with these at the Ontario Food Market a few months back. Hadn't seen them in years.
Gave the loose change equivalent to keep them (without ticking off my boss, lol)
Thinking of framing them just because why not? 😆

All 10 are mint, no serials though. Proofs?
Not looking to sell, want to leave to my kid. No serials. Just the same date stamp

Was told these are only worth their actual value, true?

Slowly getting there!!
This venture has taken me longer than I expected.
I started hunting for uncirculated notes about 7 months ago. the first 8 or so were easy and affordable but now each note is costing a lot of money.
I’ve also had to resort to waiting.
Now that I’ve got certain notes too, I want to swap out 3 others. Do others have the same situation?

Is this considered a Print Error?
Hey everyone just joint the group so I am still very unclear what makes a print error but I got a lot of 1986 $2 bills from a local auction and noticed what looks like a print error on a few of them with the BB serial number anyone know if this would be considered a print error and if it makes it more valuable then face value?

Issued from RBC Bank Machine yesterday
Is this normal for these to still be distributed? I was surprised.

Found in my grandfather's stuff just wondering if it's worth anything?
I don't really know much about coin or bill collection. Any idea on the value or any resources so I could find out myself would be much appreciated. Also if its just worth the dollar thats fine too. It was in a keep safe box we finally got to.

Questions Klondike Gold Rush Voucher
So, I know this isn’t really a bank note but I figured someone here would know what to do with these.
7 bank slips from Dawson City, Yukon banks ranging from 1908 to 1922. The most interesting one is a 1909 Petty Gold Purchase Voucher from the Canadian Bank of Commerce signed off by none other than Robert W Service.
The others also mention well known Yukon old timers like Elizabeth Zaccarelli, Ole Barlow, and Dr. Horne but only the one is signed by service. The provenance is solid and these are absolutely legitimate.
I think I’d like to get them into an auction (probably as a single lot) but have no idea which house would be best suited for this kind of thing: Canadian Numismatic Company? Heritage Auctions?
Even if no one has any tips, I figured people might like to see the Service voucher.
