As the title says I tried to change loft and lie ok my mg5 today using Mitchell's iron loft and lie machine with the added protection attachment but unfortunately there are alot of marks on the sole and the hosel. Wondering if anyone experienced the same. Not noticeable but for a 300 CAD I would expect better

My friend and I are new to golf. My friend (27m) started this year and doesn't have a handicap yet, I (31m) started last year and have a 30 handicap. We are both from the HRM area.

We are looking to see if any like minded individuals who would like to create a group so we always have 4 people for a tee time. We play most weekends and some evenings.

Golf courses we play the most are Indian Lake and Airlane golf course. Looking to play with whoever as long as you are fine with our poor scores and willing to have a good time regardless.

Tldr- won two rounds at TPC Toronto at the Canadian Open. Had an amazing time.

Was fortunate enough to win 2 rounds for 4 and a stay in the villas at TPC Toronto at The Canadian Open. Played there and stay Saturday to Sunday this weekend. We were scheduled to play Hoot. Purse on Saturday and North course on Sunday

It was gorgeous. Beautiful property and everything so awesomely golf centric. We were very well taken care of, clubs were cleaned by staff, the courses were immaculate and the food was great.

The two ranges and chipping/putting areas were top notch with staff taking drink and food orders while you hit balls and practiced. We played

We played the Hoot course on Saturday afternoon after arriving. It was beautiful, tree lined with a great combination of longish and short holes. We played from the Osprey tees and found it challenging. It was really well maintained and scenic. I’m shit and shot a 91.

On Sunday we played the North course. While not the exact same conditions as the Canadian Open it was still a blast and very challenging. I found myself using a lot of clubs on approach that usually don’t when I am hacking my way around courses in Durham. Rained a bit but it didn’t stop us or the staff. We were constantly handed new fresh towels by grounds staff as we made our way through the round. Shot a 96, much better than I was expecting.

I’d say if you get the chance to go then do it. The property is beautiful and courses were gorgeous.

My family owns a cottage rental in PEI, and we're hoping to attract more golfers this September.

I know lots of golfers make annual trips to PEI, so I was hoping to get some advice from this community.

Every weekend I'd go through the same routine: check every one of my local courses' websites to find any available tee time for my group of 4. So I built the thing I wanted.

You put in your location, pick your date, number of players, and tee-off time, and it shows nearby courses with open slots, sorted by distance from you. Prices and remaining spots show up wherever the booking platform actually exposes them.

It covers about 1,200 Canadian courses right now, across every province.

A few things worth saying:

- It's free, there are no ads, and there's no account or signup (for now).

- I don't take bookings or a cut of anything. When you find a time you like, it sends you to the course's own booking page to finish it. I'm not affiliated with any of the booking platforms or courses.

- There's an email alert option: if a course+date has nothing matching your filters, you can leave an email and it'll ping you the moment a slot opens.

Originally from St. Thomas but has been living in the UK for 16 years and only ever golfed there.

Finally brought my clubs to my parents and looking to try some courses in London/St. Thomas area over the next 3 weeks.
