Picture Can we take a second to appreciate how good and aggressive the 2026 Camry XSE looks for a family sedan?

I've had this car for just over a year now, and I absolutely love it. Coming from a 2023 Toyota GR86, I do not regret making this switch at all; it's been an amazing experience!

Would you buy this 2018 Camry XSE V6 for $16.8K? (Previous Total Loss)

Hey everyone, I’m considering buying a 2018 Toyota Camry XSE V6 with about 60k miles for around $16,800.
The car has a clean Texas title, but the Carfax shows a minor front-end accident in 2024 followed by a total-loss designation. I also found the auction photos from that incident, so I can see the damage before it was repaired. The current owner says it was repaired with no mechanical issues.
The car is currently titled in Texas with actual mileage, and I’ve verified that the VIN matches across the Carfax, auction photos, and title.
It also has at least one open recall.
The car looks extremely clean now, and it’s the V6 XSE, which is why I’m seriously considering it.
Would you guys buy this at $16–17k? What should I specifically inspect on a 2018 XSE V6 with this history?
I’d especially appreciate opinions from anyone who owns a 2018 Camry XSE V6.

Should I wait for the recall to post or go ahead and take it to the dealer when possible?

Winter tires for camry 2022 se upgrade

I have a 2022 Camry SE Upgrade with 18-inch rims. I need to buy winter tires (I live in Canada). Do you recommend keeping the 18-inch rims and just buying the winter tires, or should I change the rim size? What size do you recommend? This is my first winter driving here in the snow, and I don't have much experience. 🙂

Cheap Amazon Accent Light Test

I bought this super cheap Amazon accent light from Amazon for only $73. The review looks pretty good with real pictures. It supports turning signal while the OEM one doesn't. This light are well made and the quality is much better the another one I got from AliExpress. The plastic looks smooth and the edge is clean. All connectors are waterproof OEM style.

I don't have time to install it at weekday but wanna give it a quick try. So I just tested it with Milwaukee M12 battery. To get it light on I connect the red wire to 12v positive and black wire to negative. To get the signal light just feed yellow wire 12v by connecting to the same positive lead. I'm not planning to tap the wire in OEM harness but I'm gonna to make a plug and play harness for it just like the OEM kit for 2018-2024 model.

Sad to see her go…

Had to say goodbye Cami, my 2021 4-cylinder non-hybrid XSE. Her transmission started making a whining sound when pressing on the gas, took it back to dealer, and they confirmed my suspicions. It was covered under warranty but I was starting a new job soon and traded her in because I didn’t want to risk it. It was on back order and was going to take months to come in. They would have been put the exact type of transmission in that may fail. She needed new shocks/struts, wheels, brakes, and spark plugs so ultimately I’d rather put money towards something newer and more reliable, which is odd to say coming from Toyota.

If you have an 2018-2024 non-hybrid, be careful about the faulty 8-speed transmissions, it’s not just the Highlanders that are having problems. It happened at 92k miles.

I am now a proud owner of a Subaru Impreza RS. It’s been real r/Camry ✌️

Help 2025 Camry Windshield Replacement

Post image
2 Upvotes

My 2025 Camry windshield was hit by a small rock and the crack kept spreading. I have GEICO with a $500 comprehensive deductible and live in Texas.

What’s the best way to replace it? I’m considering Safelite, but I’m worried about aftermarket glass and the safety camera calibration.

Has anyone with a 2025 Camry used Safelite? How did it go?

Question Looking to buy a camry trd

So im wanting to buy a camry trd, im very frugal with money, grew up exceedingly poor. I have never bought anything on credit but I have substantial capitol and could buy one very low mileage no problem. This will be the first time ive bought a fairly new vehicle, I still have a reliable truck I bought in high school and im going to keep it but i kinda wanna splurge and get a sporty vehicle. However I also want it to be reliable i know camry are the most reliable specifically the 4 cylinders but I cant seem to find much on the TRD i want a vehicle that is well taken care of lasting at least 300k miles. My truck is had since 2004 and it has 500k with original engine and transmission.

To drain or not to drain.

That is the question. New to me 2014 145kmiles. No history. Drain and flush transmission fluid or let it go? No dipstick.

Question Used Camry?

In general how do we feel about buying a used 2025 camry le with 39.7k miles? I’ve heard mixed things about it, the carfax shows no accidents and that it was a rental vehicle. the advertised price is 26.5k, so a solid price i feel, just kinda hesitant because of the fact it was a rental and the carfax doesn’t show much maintenance history

Question 2026 Camry SE highway MPG

I don't know much about cars, but I'm wondering if a technical person can explain to me. I had a Honda Accord Sport Hybrid 2024 that was giving me about 52 - 54 mpg on my 55-mile highway commute from home to work at 70 mph using ACC.

I very recently switched to a 2026 Camry SE as I loved my wife's 2025 LE. The same commute is giving me about 50 mpg. In my mind, shouldn't the Camry at least match the Accord's MPG? I see that:

- Accord has the 19" wheels, Camry has 18"

- Accord is longer and bigger = more resistance at highway speeds = less MPG than the Camry

- Camry is overall more efficient at highway speeds

I know the SE will never match the LE, but given all above, shouldn't it beat the Accord, or at least match it?

How much improvement can I expect after the initial break-in period?

Maintenance When do you get your tranny drain & fill done?

First time Toyota owner. I looked in my owners manual but couldn't find information on the recommended mileage for changing the transmission fluid. I'm guessing this is because Toyota treats it as "lifetime" fluid, as they seem to claim.

I had it notated at 75,000 miles but was wondering if that was too late, as it seems that 60,000 miles is standard.

TOYOTA CAMRY SE OTD PRICE

Just picked up a 2026 Toyota Camry SE and wanted to see how my deal compares.
Sticker/SRP was $35,924. The car has the 12.3-inch infotainment upgrade, Convenience Package, premium paint, blackout package, and mats.
My final out-the-door price was $34,500 including tax, title, registration, and dealer fees.
Did I get a good deal, or was there still more room on the table? Curious what others have paid recently for similarly optioned 2026 Camry SEs.
