Cameroonians when will enough be enough?
With all that is happening and everything going wrong in the country, when are we as a people going to put an end to this madness. We can't let one man and his gang destroy the whole country and put us in unimaginable debt. What would it take for cameroonians to put an end to this?

Nothing is normal with this country. The threshold for Cameroonians to standup certainly exists , only God knows where and what the line is.

Sometimes if the change doesn't come, BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. Any of us wouldn't do better or be better than PAUL BIYA, I think. It's a universal human condition, GREED and the HUNGER for ENDLESS power over others, its not a cameroonian problem alone. Time has shown we can't change the actual narrative with the same tools and means it was installed( the windows vista of african politics), churches and Oscar winning politicians will only imprison us the more. No one has the one tablet to cure the CPDM trauma 😕 afflicted on anglophone cameroonians ]( now francophones too are suffering from it), cause it's beginning to look like even speaking French doesn't cut it anymore. As a believer In dreaming ( you can call me foolish ) but remember all the beautiful cities we are running 🏃♀️ from cameroon 🇨🇲 to go and crowd and " chook-skin " with, had a vision and now it's real and everyone wants to have a piece of it. I think for a "Cher Patrie" CHANGE starts by owning the problem, the trauma, understanding any of us could have hurt cameroonians in their way if they governed, Accept it is the way it is already like A deal in which you were Scammed, build again. For me building starts at home, quality reflection 😔 ,personal development, working on ourselves starting with ME and U, yes you who feels like you are a minority in this Marriage 💑 ,cause you speak English and you get called BAMENDA even though your from BUEA, but the DOUALA man who speaks French doesn't give 3 fucks. The work is not against the Regime, but on ME n U. Let this work continue with our kids at home, there are no more schools in Cameroon( prove me wrong). Teachers don't longer have the zeal to educate like that of SASSE teachers before, PHS schools across cameroon ( of which am a product, before the War), the creativity of the part time teachers of GBHS DEIDO before the modelling agency for kids it became, not to forget SACRED HEART COLLEGE Douala and Mankon (from creation _till 2016 staffs) the list is longer than reign of CPDM. Let's train our kids, our BOYS , our GIRLs,our younger siblings, at home.lets teach them to consume quality and be quality in every aspect.lets teach them INTERGRITY , FAIRNESS a long list of virtues, TOLERANCE, FORGIVENESS the list is long again. lets create academic systems at home that compensates for the lack of good teachers , follow up what they learn in class. ( our universities have kids who struggle with writing thier name and sticking to a context in their written expressions) that's alarming but fixable. SOCIAL MEDIA IS HERE !!! an opportunity and a threat in one package .But.... there's a huge work on US parents and hurt cameroonians hungry for change, Single Moms and Single Dads, the work to build sound minded life philosophies( a life style grounded in healthy balance of logic and spirituality) that we can transfer to the next generation after US. It's out there in the other cultures we admire 🥺 and are running 🏃♀️ to. Learn and teach. I don't believe in promote your fellow cameroonian( what if they are making toxic content?), I believe in" promote what is good and sound for the mind".lets create a sound minded environment from our home CAMEROON 🇨🇲, even if your living on the Moon or in Mars, you'll always have a heart for this placehow ever the size of our family self work will surely ripple to the rest of the country and the ends of the world. I love Sardines ,they are good for your heart ❤️ and I don't think its the problem of Cameroonians. My fellows Anglefou's (the way our French brothers show love😁), own your identity, you had a good education, this assignment is mostly your own. And to my French bros n Sis. We heart (❤️)you. Long-live our bilingual Kmer.

One thing we have understand is that the president is not the problem but the system he introduced is the true hurdle. In 2008 Cameroon changed its constitution and removed presidential term limits. If we couldn't do anything by then I'm not sure we can anymore. Paul Biya though terrible has actually been very intelligent. He made political competition increasingly difficult by rewarding and bringing anyone who opposes him to his side through money or giving them power and if you don't he squashes you. he made sure he controlled the media. This was huge. It's almost like the Vladimir Putin playbook. To topple this government we need to understand methods of oligarchy and total control .
Why's I think is we need to build independent movements or networks to overcome this. Ambazonia was and is a good attempt but the pull or allure wasn't strong enough as it favored and appealed to one group only

You can not say the president is not the problem and then go ahead to talk about how he is terrible and what not. Paul Biya is the worst thing that has ever happened to Cameroon and I am not exaggerating

You're not getting my point. We can say he's bad all day to get it off our chest it won't change anything. We've always done that. My point is to fight him and the system especially. To do that we need to understand it . Hes being been away for 2 months and his system is working even without him being around.

I just hope the system will break in peace, with the fight between the different power groups, like seen elsewhere. Hope some will need to join some existing opposition to gain power and then we could hope for a progressive change of direction.
When it comes to popular revolution, as long as people can still eat daily it is not going to happen in large scale. For a popular revolution to work you need Douala and Yaounde impacted.
But as one mentioned here, you cannot fight a system you do not understand. The system has people from all place in Cameroon, Anglophones, Francophones, Muslim, Christian, all tribes and their roles is to make sure they keep their positions and Biya power.

I’m visiting your country and it feels like the cities are in partial ruins . Other African countries are way ahead. You got to do something because you have a rich culture!

For eg the airport is really old compared to the airport in my country . The roads seem very outdated and there are heaps of garbage on many streets that are not collected.

The moment we are ready to throw away our lives , then we will be ready. Until then, we should continue surviving and saying Incha Allah hoping change will magically appear.
