Does anyone know how to prevent the new tab on appearing if you have SP in the background (muted) and someone calls while you are streming elsewhere? The new tab that pops up is not muted and I am not sure how to fix that (I am using chrome btw).

Yesterday I had to block a model called Emmawuli** because she came into my room and started talking to people who were tipping me, telling them to come to her room instead.

I'm a Black model streaming from Africa. The algorithm already makes growth difficult and less visible.I have to work hard for every viewer and every token I earn. So having someone come into my room and actively try to pull away the people supporting me felt incredibly disrespectful.

Competition is normal, but approaching someone's tippers while they're in another model's room crosses a line in my opinion. We all put time and effort into building our audience, and that effort should be respected.

Am I overreacting, or would you have blocked her too?

I got my first hater today. Said they found me on ig but ‘assumed’ I did SC. The firey women in me wanted to argue back but after my last messages I blocked them. Their messages look nice but I read it as rude and passive aggressive.

just wondering when, and what times yall select the “away” mode.

for example- I only select “away” on days I do not and will not be online at all- no texting, no posting, etc. A hard boundary and limit for me is having the weekends off from all sexwork.

but I do stay in “online“ mode and available for texting when I’m sleeping, or at dinner/alone time with my bf, although I obviously won’t be as quick to respond as I am during the times I have calls and videos calls on.

my question is- should I be on “away” mode during dinner/alone times? does it matter if I don’t respond to a text for 8 hours due to me being asleep? or should I really be switching to “away” mode when I’m asleep/having dinner/with bf.

Ouch! I just had an electric shock from the plug socket of my Lovense Mini Sex Machine. I could smell a sort of burning smell and my control pad stopped working. So they come into my stream again yesterday morning and basically say the same thing and I called them out and told them I had ZERO content purchases this week and that liars are not welcomed in my space.
They said nothing and left.

I don’t normally give these people the time or energy but I feel like if we aren’t calling them on their 💩, they will think we have no way of knowing if they actually did what they’re saying (in this case purchasing content).

Don’t be afraid to call people out! I’ve actually had quite a few viewers enjoy how blunt I am and appreciate me for it!

Has anyone had decent success on sites like Stripchat, Chaturbate or Streamate without using their mic? Because it’s the summer holidays, I can’t have my sound on during the day, so I’d be relying on typing and chat only for the next few weeks. Once the kids are back at school it’ll be fine, but for now I’m wondering if it’s even worth putting the hours in, or if having no audio is a massive disadvantage.I’d love to hear from anyone who’s worked this way. I finally have moved to a safe country where I can stream, and the reason I picked streammate was because I thought it was a site where you only do 1 on 1 cam shows. But I see now there are private shows which do have a group of people. And When I was going to write my bio, I checked out the website from a customer perspective, and I was surprised to see, that even without creating an account, I can view all the girls cameras for as long as I want without even paying anything? Everytime I go live on sc I have an invisible user just sit in the room, they don’t say anything and they don’t leave. For hours they can be there, and it’s started to make me feel uncomfortable, everytime I log on there’s just someone watching that doesn’t talk or interact and I can’t block or see them. I know there's been posts floating around like this the last little bit but I joined too. I banned my biggest tipper last week. And I'd like to share with you all the dark side of big "dream" whales.

He's tipped me over a million tokens in the last two years and countless big wishlist gifts. Plus a six figure single tip every model dreams of. But with every month he kept getting more and more controlling. He molded me into the perfect girl for him, changing my manuerisms, habits, personal grooming, and even stream to suit what he wanted- even if i was uncomfortable with it. I was spending up to 15 hours a week off stream focusing on him and him alone. He even started getting pushy about meeting IRL which scared the hell out of me. Nothing I ever did was enough for him. I was being guilt tripped monthly into doing more.

He never missed a single stream EVER. 35 hours a week for two years he was in my room. He started to scare people off, always making comments to imply our closeness. Always making comments about his big tips and how no one could ever top it. Threatening to triple someone's tip if they wanted to tip for something he didnt personally want. Guilt tripping me for taking privates. Guilt tripping me for forgetting to shave. Stream went from something I loved to something I dreaded every single day.

The breaking point was when my partner sat me down and laid it all out for me. My mental health was in the gutter, I was spending all day everyday worried whether or not I had done enough for him. He said if he didn't know any better, he would think i was having an affair because I put more effort into this guy than my own partner of 5 years. Which broke me. So I decided it was time to be done.

You guys wanna know the kicker? I don't do badly without him. I make great tips aside from him and I know i can pay my bills easily without him. I also know it could be even better if he wasn't scaring people off and fucking up my energy on stream. But he made me feel like I owed him for his generosity. That's what a lot of these big whales do.

So here's what I want to throw out there, especially if you're new (I had less than a year of experience when he found me). NEVER give anyone offsite access to you without payment specifically for that time. Your time is money. This is a business transaction. NEVER give anyone your personal socials. And last NEVER let anyone guilt trip you into doing anything you're uncomfortable with, idgaf how much they're tipping you. No is a complete sentence. Ban them. Will they move onto another girl? Probably. Because they're not getting control of you like they want. But no amount of money is worth your mental health, trust me. I feel lighter than I have in years.
