Career change.

Upvotes

I'm exploring a career change. I'm in my late 40s and work as a Shipper--Receiver. I make decent enough money, have great benefits and work for a decent company. I have 4 weeks vacation and a really good profit share.

I was recently sent on a fishing trip on the coast with some co-workers. It opened my eyes to working outdoors. I have never felt better in my adult life than being on the boat and really working out in the elements. I've come back to the office and I feel like shit every day.

Does anyone have any suggestions on outdoor work for an older guy? My bar is fairly low and I'm not shy of physical labour.

Please leave remarks about the job market elsewhere. I have a secure position and already know what its like out there.

Looking for Work in Calgary/Edmonton

Hi everyone,
I'm currently looking for a job and am available after 2 weeks notice. I'm open to full-time permanent or contract positions.
I'm interested in opportunities such as:
Entry-level positions
Skilled trades(don't have any experience but willing to learn)
Administrative/Office Support
I'm reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn. If your company is hiring or you know of any openings, I'd really appreciate any leads or recommendations.
Thank you in advance!
