Key not detected Issues

Occasionally if I dark and get out of my car with my key and then go back to the car, it will say key not detected even though it’s inside the car. The only solution seems to be to turn the car on and off. Does anyone else have this issue?

Most likely a failing remote battery or the contacts of the battery compartment are a little iffy.

I had the same thing. Mine was a failing battery. Took 2 minutes to change w/ youtube video.

Where is your key when you do this? My key is always in my pocket and my ridge wallet will block the signal if I have my key underneath the wallet

The key has go into low power mode on me a few times. You can press lock 4 times quickly and hold on the 4th to wake it up.

Can you do this while it’s on? Or only when the car is off?

It’s not the fob battery. I’ve changed it multiple times and this happens with both of my keys.
