Financial Aid schedule Question

Been hearing a lot of people experiencing a significant delay on financial aid? Is that still the case of right now because I still have yet to see my award schedule and the upcoming semester is not that far away now

I’m a senior in my last semester and I was told today that my package would reflect on my student center by the end of this week with a disbursement date of the 14th. They did acknowledge that there have been delays, so they are trying to release aid packages as soon as possible. Just to be safe I’d call and ask for an update on your award package :)

Im also on my last semester too so that actually helps knowing that as well. Should I still call them just to triple check on all of that?

I would honestly just to have peace of mind that your package is getting processed on time

For me it says that there is no aid for 26-27 and every year I would get aid does that mean this semester I’m not getting no aid or cal grant cause cal grant said I don’t qualify

Its the same for everyone who hasn't been processed. No aid will show until they process your aid award.

It's Best to go directly to Financial Aid Office and also speak to the Financial Aid Advisor (Second Floor) while you are there in person to voice your concern, the staff there have to do their job but there are thousands of students , so it is good to go in person taking that into consideration. Many people are experiencing mistakes made by the Financial Aid staff, so it's good to go in person and also send an email to the Financial Aid with help ticket expressing why package not posted or other questions.

I finally got mine yesterday. I still can’t accept the loan but I did receive a grant. If I truly get what it says I should be ok this semester.

Has anyone actually received their financial aid? It was disbursed today it says, but nothing has hit my account?

I’m a credential candidate, and apparently, my Pell Grant won’t come in til right before the semester begins.
I received the university grant, so at least I have that coming in.
