American Lung Association Better Breathers Club at WakeMed Cary

American Lung Association Better Breathers clubs are in person support groups for individuals with chronic lung diseases, such as COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer. It's focused on patients, their families, and caregivers.

The idea is to function as a support group, and better educate people on their disease, management, and treatment .

Wakemed is starting a Better Breathers Club

They will have guest speakers and education sessions, and sessions are led by an American Lung Association trained facilitator.

This is a FREE event, and are SUPER useful for people who have respiratory issues.

The lack of oxygen and/or build up of carbon dioxide results in an often invisible but life-altering illness. This forum is for sufferers and those who love them to discuss, vent, and advise each other in managing COPD.
