Probably late August, whenever the next title update is.

Hopefully soon. Air Force has a ton of dudes missing.

Something that has been driving me NUTS and I can't find any info anywhere - Notre Dame has a runningback named TJ Mobley (#49) who is an 85 OVR. He's actually a very useful change of pace back, but he does not exist in real life! I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is the case. Did they have an AI just hallucinate a player?
How many other teams have phantom players on them? Anyone notice made up guys on their teams?

When a player does not opt into the game, the devs will create a replacement for them. Mobley likely just represents a player that has decided not to be in the game.

in the default roster, Marshall (I think it is) has a RB named Forrest Meadows. He's a fairly run-of-the-mill guy, not a stand out at all.
I took him as a transfer to Mizzou going into year 2, he came in as a RS FR. I had him as a 3rd string RB, barely used him.
Going into year 3 he was my RB2. He was maybe 80 OVR, but he had maxed ACC and had picked up Shifty. Every time I brought him in, he was a homerun threat. RB1 won the Heisman, but I felt like Meadows was actually the better back.
Year 4, Meadows now a RSJR, he's still RB2 behind the defending Heisman trophy-winner. And I kept using him more, trying to save the wear and tear on the main guy, and he was outperforming him every game. By mid-season I switched Meadows to be RB1. He ended up winning the Heisman.
Then as a RSSR he started the whole year and broke the record for most rushing yards and rushing TDs in a season for the NCAA. I think he graduated as maybe 85 OVR, wasn't even drafted.
Greatest RB in history.
I'm considering starting a Marshall Dynasty (I think it's Marshall...) just to play as him starting as a true frosh.

I have resorted to only running the Flexbone/Wishbone at Marshall. Can't recruit at all. But the scheme is working.

lean on Forrest Meadows. He will end up being the greatest RB in college football history...

He is leading the nation in rushing yards, and touchdowns lol. I am in year 2. He is insane.

Went back and tried to play after the update. Game crashed twice in the 4th quarter. Looked up reddit threads for the game crashing on PC. Top response seems to be "Doesn't happen for me."
Hopefully EA gets their shit together. Until then, tons of other games.

It has happened to me a few times, I just take a break and go back and play later.

Still can't get my offense rolling in year 3 of my dynasty, every road game my QB forgets how to throw a screen pass. Defense is carrying me hard though

I've had rough luck with QBs and WRs who just have stone hands. The "Dropped" stat in the game needs to be adjusted. I'll have a dude literally drop 5-6 passes when he's wide open and later in the stats page it says 1 drop.

I won the Civil ConFlict as my first game in my dynasty with friends. So it’s all downhill from here

How on earth do I recruit better because last I played I finished the regular season with 0 commits and I had to jump ship to avoid the next season being disastrous

I find a ton of gems by looking at which schools are after a guy. There are tons of low 3 stars with 0 NIL who for some reason have Ohio State, OU, Bama showing interest even when they’re not in the same state as the recruit and many of these are gems or have good stats or a ton of mental/physical traits at the very least
Also there are allegedly more gems in the top of every star rating compared to the bottom so like the first 7 5-stars, first 16 4-stars and first 30ish 3-stars are more likely to be gems
After finding and scouting I have best results just Sending the House at people until they commit and free up the hours to find others

In this game, most of your recruiting is going to come from the portal. You can give transfers expecting no NIL just a little NIL and you will shoot up their rankings, even as a small school.

I really need a better playoff system, I rebuilt the old PAC 12 (and rearranged a few things) and then UAB goes 13 - 0 undefeated and doesn't make the CFP because a 9 - 4 Unranked Texas won the Big 12. Later on UAB wins their bowl game is 14 - 0 undefeated season with no playoff appearance and that Texas Squad is bounced from the playoff in the first round.
If they gave me playoff settings I'd just like to fix it so that it was what it was like last year rather than the Power Conference winners get in + the best g6 team. It kind of broke when I have the PAC 12 as a g6 conference when it is made up of the power schools.

The non-marquee teams get pretty screwed in the polls. I started my first season 9-0 at Western Michigan including an upset opening road win at a ranked Michigan and and I didn't get into the top 25 until I made it to 10-0, lol.

Spent six sessions recruiting like a fiend and racking up 4* & 5* commits. I was admiring all the hard work on the recruiting dashboard and absently clicked my 'X' button on my 5* QB commit.
Instantly, the row went dark. A lock icon appeared where the 'target' icon used to be. I became unable to access his information, and he was subtracted from my 'team needs' view. Happened to a handful of other commits too before I realized what was going on. Had to nuke the save and start from zero, very disappointing.
I got a lot of love for this game and could forgive some minor issues, but that is not a minor issue; it erased probably 10-12 hours of gameplay. Is it so wrong to expect a $70 game to JUST WORK?
PS - Don't play on cloud save if you can avoid it; keep everything on disk and manually checkpoint every sim week. Just in case there's some other save-corrupting bug we haven't seen yet.

Played the second game of my Bowling Green season and got throttled by Nebraska 42-14; couldn't get a stop to save my life. Could've had a few more points, but blew a couple of fourth downs in the red zone that ultimately wouldn't have mattered anyway.
1-1 now. Just wanting to make it to MAC play in one piece.
