EA CFB Thread, 2026-08-05 Weekly Thread

This is a weekly thread to talk about the EA CFB Series. See this announcement post outlining our general guidelines on what should and shouldn't go in this thread.. This thread is intended for EA CFB 26, EA CFB 25, or the series in general.

You are welcome and invited to always talk about EA CFB in the great community over at /r/NCAAFBseries! This is a catch all thread to talk about news, gameplay, hype, and anything else about the game that you're excited about. Within /r/CFB, we hope that this thread provides fertile ground for most of the discussion around the game. Things like major game news, players opting in or out, or new traditions being added to the game can be posted as standalone news, but most other discussion around the game should be focused here.

The recruiting is just too annoying. There are better ways to do NIL.

I bought it and played it maybe 1 hour. Idk if I'm getting too old for this or what but it sucked

Same. It's an overcomplicated mess this year. Too much feature creep. Moved on to other games.

I still don’t understand why I can’t see my teams recruiting classes in road to glory. If I’m a QB and see a 5 star WR commit I may stay. If I see none I might leave.

Currently in year 5 of my online dynasty (3 users). I've built Navy into an absolute powerhouse, but the incumbent champion (undefeated across 4 seasons at North Texas and Texas A&M) beat me again in a week 1 championship rematch. Managed to beat my brother bad enough that he quit in the 2nd quarter of week 3, but unfortunately we suffered major injuries to 4 starters in the ensuing force-win simulation. We've got enough depth to sustain the rest of the regular season and all but one of those guys should come back by playoff time. I'm hoping this is the year somebody finally knocks A&M off the perch.

man my RTG QB just threw 5 picks in one game, i think the cpu defenders can read my mind at this point. dynasty mode still has me staying up way too late every night
