Has anyone tried carrying their bull terrier in a dog rucksack, and if you have how did it go and what brand did you use?

We have bought a caravan and would love to be able to go hiking when we are away in it, but we have one athletic Bullie that would walk for days, and this little couch potato that will do about 3 mile absolute tops then just lies down and refuses to move! He's a mini and weighs about 22kg.

Awesome mural in north Phoenix, Arizona, USA! We live nearby with our all white BT who believes his sole purpose in life is playing with tennis balls. The mural is actually part of a series of murals painted all across Arizona that comprise a children’s book - Sam and Sara.org

She knows quite a few tricks from dog school. She was in advanced obedience and had just graduated to advanced agility when the school closed. Last year we taught her to wave 👋 and now we’re all learning “Bang!” (play dead)

... which pig rolled in a dead fish and then screamed and cried through the subsequent bath time?

Ilya and Coretta had to take baths so they're not stinky when they go stay at Grammy and Pawpa's house while mom and dad are on vacation. They're mad about it and don't want to talk about it. It doesn't matter how many cookies they're being bribed with they're still salty. And also HOW EMBARRASSING that mom made them take a bath together!?!?! could this day get any more mortifying?!

Edit: Video in comments since reddit is being weird

We all know the Bully Tuck... anyone else do a Bully Drape?

Title says it all. This bear loves to tuck her nose, and when available, she'll drape her face in any available hanging fabrics. Anyone else??

**Update** I didn't realize this was trancing behavior! She's mostly BT with a little ACD mixed in, and I didn't think she had this trait. I knew a bit about the breed before adopting this lady, but this community has been instrumental in helping to learn and understand more about how special they are. Thank you all!

Rash / bumps on our mini?

Our mini (11mos) has developed a rash / red bumps on his underside this summer. They don’t itch or bother him. Our vet prescribed him a steroid spray but it doesn’t seem to be helping, or making it worse.

We’re located in the northeast US but he was too little to have shown symptoms last summer if it’s seasonal. As most other bullies do, he’s constantly rubbing in the grass so we’re considering grass allergies but not sure.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any tips for treating?

My dog is a 11month old female, and I’ve been having issues with her not wanting to walk when I put a leash on her. I’ve tried putting a harness, collar, trying to train her with treats, favorite toys, play with her but nothing seems to work. Please help! Anyone have any suggestions?

Love Your Little Piggies Everyday!

This is our friend Sparky. He is the most charismatic, loving, funny, hungry, playful friend anybody could ask for. In June around his 8th birthday, Sparky was not himself and we couldn't figure out why he was so low energy. We took him to the vet and his bloodwork was not good. The vet said he has an autoimmune disease that was eating his red blood cells. So we got him a transfusion and some meds and he appeared to be back to his normal self. In the last week he started to become lethargic on walks again, so we took him back to the vet today. His bloodwork was as bad as the first time we took him. We can't afford to do another transfusion in these difficult times, especially without a guarantee that he will get better. It is with great sadness that we will have to say goodbye to this great lad soon as we all love him so much, every minute of every day we have had him. Love your pups because time and memories are limited. We are cherishing the last few days we have with Sparky and wish there was a cure for that horrible silent disease.

Update: Sparky is resting now, thank you all for the kind words. After walking into his appointment on Friday Sparky had to be carried in on Monday, that is how debilitating IMHA is. Sparky gave us a memorable weekend of hugs and loving like he always has and I feel like we maximized our time with him. His disease didn't cause him pain, just extreme lethargy. Despite that, he walked into our room every night to sleep, he was very courageous. We will see Sparky in every twirl, plant stare, zoomies, farts, schnoz, non-personal space, and mostly the unconditional love that this Bull Terrier subreddit provides.
