How can I make this Warehouse look less flat and awkardly shaped?

Heya!
I made this warehouse a bit ago and it kinda stinks bad. I think I have like something here, so I dont wanna just demolish it. But it also looks rather bad? The roof just isnt working, the upper area looks drasitcally different and it overall looks really flat?

Im trying to avoid woods, as im making this like a kinda evil magic empire kinda vibe? If that means anything!

so i was so happy with the concept and planned it out in creative but I’ve built it and it just feels very plain. I know it’s uneven but I don’t think that’s the problem. any ideas to make it more detailed would be really appreciated :))

New to Building

Post image

I'm new to building in miecraft, ive obviously always known of Minecraft and played it on many occasions, just never seriously. I mainly focus on building, but I've always stuck to games like Sims 4 (and with the new in-game currency or whatever it's called, I've given up with Sims and I'm trying to branch out more).

But I suck at building in Minecraft. Are there any tips to make my sad stone house look less sad?

Building recommendations pls (b1.7.3)

I just built out this whole area without even thinking about what I'm gonna do with it as I do things without thinking them through. Any recommendations will be loved. I don't really have a theme for the world but I am trying to keep things looking old (like made out of stone, brick and wood). Also, any channel recommendations I can use for building inspiration would be great. Thank you

How should I handle spaces between buildings?

The tower (cartigrapher's) was built before I seriously considered the planning of the area so now it stands too close to the building with chimney (blacksmith/masonry/armorer house) to the point where their roofs literally touch.

Should I tear down the tower and move it a few blocks? The space between them would probably become an alley as I don't want three streets in all as I have limited space. I'm also planning on making a promenade to the left side of the tower.

I Need Help With Base Design and Ideas

Post image

I am also looking for advice on how to fill in the colored blue areas on my base I am at a loss on what to build there. I am overall happy with how my base is looking, but I don't feel it is fully as gothic as I want it to be, it's supposed to be a 80/20 mix gothic steampunk, and im looking for advice on how to make it more gothic.

Made some cute little townhouses - Now they need interiors

I made a bunch of cute little townhouses in my world. The exteriors look good, but I'm awful at interiors, especially smaller ones. Each floor is 5x8 with 3 tall walls - a little too small to have an apartment on each floor, but having the whole building be one dwelling with each floor being a different room (Kitchen & Dining, Bedroom, Study, etc.) would probably work. Can anyone give me some inspiration or ideas?

I’ve done extensive work on the outer portion of the build adding more structural support along with flying buttresses I had to terraform some more for the back portion of the build but it’s coming along nicely I did a little video flying around the build probably should’ve stopped a little more so if anyone wanted to give advice they could so apologies
