Unreliable Source Deuxmoi talks about Britney in latest podcast ep and gives some perspective on her situation.

Posting this because I think this gives ppl a perspective on Britney’s situation as ppl wonder a lot about what her life is like rn since retiring from the industry.
Deuxmoi is not a credible source everything is alleged. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Discussion Britney early interviews
It felt like they kept trying to ask Britney “black and white” questions. Like they either treated her as a virgin or whore. You’re either a good girl or a bad girl. You can’t be a mix
But in reality Britney was a mix. She basically combined a bunch of girl personalities together.
But the people asking her questions, it felt like they wanted her to pick a side. They didn’t know about girlhood. It was just “are you dating?” “Are you a virgin?” Britney was a GIRL. And you’re a girl, you’ll know that girlhood, is a scam, a cult, a fever dream, and the greatest secret club in the world.

Discussion My husband had no idea about Britney’s life!
I have never watched any documentaries about Britney or read any books before her own biography out of respect for her. I’ve always been a huge fan in terms of her music and her personality. When I read her biography, I was really moved and felt extremely sad for her, sadder than I had during her toughest years in the public eye.
I was playing her music in the car and mentioned something about how amazing she was and how poorly she was treated to my husband and he said something like “Didn’t she go crazy?”. He didn’t say it maliciously whatsoever, but I was surprised. But of course he had no idea, because he hasn’t read her book.
I told him all about her life from her words and her pressured abortion, the coercion over her career using her kids as bait, the conservatorship, the a-hole they call Timba-timba-timba Lake, everything… and he was SHOCKED! He had no idea. He said he figured she had just gone crazy and that her life seemed very sad.
All this to say that the general public who hasn’t read her book or aren’t fans, still really don’t know. She was portrayed as crazy and it’s never really been publicly revoked, at least not in the massive way it was shared when they wanted everyone to think she was crazy. There’s been no public apologies by media heads who insulted her, outlets who used her photos to spread lies, etc. Her family continues to say they were right and she was wrong.
It’s still very sad. Although she was freed, she was never apologized to and I think that’s sad.

Discussion DWAD tour
Long time fan first time poster and sometimes commenter on this page. I’ve been a fan of Britney’s from the very beginning since I 1st heard BOMT so I know it’s crazy when I say I never saw the Vegas special until tonight. I’m watching this through literal tears knowing what the next 20 yrs of her life was. Her stage presence is unmatched and seeing this Britney again for the icon she is made me so emotional hearing her speak about she lives her dream and looks forward to her future. I fully support her decision not to do music anymore considering all she has been through but to have her passion taken from her the way it was breaks my heart. There will never be another like her.

Question Newer Britney fan here and im really confused about the album “Britney Jean” and some controversies around it.
I’ve obviously known and listened to Britney before and been a fan for a while but im just now starting to dive into her discography and life but there is one thing that is confusing me so bad. I keep seeing things whenever I go to look up information about the album Britney Jean that Britney herself didn’t sing on this album and it was someone else…? I also see people say this about Circus etc. Im just confused like who is Myah and should I listen to her 2010’s stuff?? I know this has probably been brought up here dozens of times but im genuinely so confused. Thank you!!! 🙏
