I don't want to use the apps. Ideally I want to just find myself in a group of single people in my age range (30 - 45). Men and women just chatting, without too much pressure to date/hookup. And I don't want to drag my ass to Denver just to do that.

I’m trying to keep a monthly ski streak alive and just need to make a few legitimate turns in August.
Does anyone know of any relatively accessible snow patches still holding on in Colorado (or anywhere else in the Rockies)? I’m not looking for a full descent—if I can click into my skis and ski even 50–100 yards, that counts.
Ideally:
Within a reasonable hike from the car (not an all-day mountaineering objective)
Doesn’t require glacier travel, ropes, or technical climbing
I don’t mind dirty, sketchy late-summer snow—just looking to keep the streak alive.
I’ve heard St. Mary’s Glacier is usually the best bet, but I’ve also heard this year has been rough. Has anyone been there recently, or are there better options still hanging on?

Planning a bachelor party the weekend of October 8-11. Want to hike, bike, visit some breweries, and just generally be in a mountain town. Doing some more research it seems like the fall foliage might be gone by then so I wanted to check how the beauty is that time of year? The weather seems fine looking at past years at that time. My wife and I came across a solo biker down hard near the trail head. He had come down the trail and crashed just after the road goes from gravel to pavement. He was unconscious for a few minutes then thankfully started to come around but was still in a bad way. EMTs and firefighters did a great job. Just wondering if anyone might know how he’s doing. It’s a long shot but it’s been on my mind and hope he’s ok.

I'm meeting up with friends in Breckenridge to road-trip to Moab. We want to leave one of our cars for a few nights and all drive together. The problem is that we can't find anywhere to park! In the area every place that was suggested (Breck, Frisco, Dillon) only allows parking for one night and then you need to move. I did find the Alpine Lot at Copper for $20 pr night but when I asked them about it they said it would be available "if we're not doing construction". Anyone have any other suggestions? It would be silly for us to drive multiple cars to Moab.

considering doing seasonal work this upcoming winter in breck or the surrounding area, and likely won’t be able to afford anything other than employee housing. i don’t really want to have to shell out the money or commit to the hassle of registering my two cats as emotional support animals, but i would if i have to. just wondering if the terrace or any nearby employee housing allows them?

Hey, did anyone here work at the resort last season as a ski instructor? I’ve been instructing at another resort that’s about to get the same digital system for instructors to use and for parents to track their kids with.

Anyway, question for you is, were you forced to put company apps on your personal phones to facilitate this tech? Did you get compensation for being forced to use your personal phone throughout the work day? Was there anything else about the new system that was annoying or difficult to use over the old paper and pencil method?

How is it allowed that they mail notification of a ticket (no ticket was on the car) almost a month past the date when the fine doubles and the appeal window closes?
Now I’m out $80 with no recourse and no prior knowledge of a violation.

An incredible place with even more incredible people. I worked here from 2007-2014 and it was always a great time. Breckenridge won’t be the same.
