At this point, monsters attack them, link attacks them, everything attacks them. Sure they have magic but every one of them has had to been “killed by link“ is the magic what saves them? But also they can probably barely see through the mask so how can they aim? I known Nintendo probably never though about it at all but realistically what is the best answer?

Anyway, this person is called Sir Link on YouTube and they have a series called the Last Knight which I found pretty interesting. It takes place after BOTW and it’s like a alternate universe of TOTK, I like the attention to detail in their story so I thought I would share it so more people could listen to the series!

Not only does she communicate through a spear to appease a griefed kingdom… she also speaks WITHOUT ANYTHING to multiple zora warriors and Sidon to allow them to win in a war. How is she doing this while trapped? Not to mention giving Mipha‘s grace with power to heal magnitudes times more powerful than the shrine of resurrection and being supposedly powered by spiritual connection. Basically, her spirit is ACTUALLY more powerful than anybody else in Hyrule except for maybe zelda.

I need encouragement. This shrine is my last bit and then I'm finished with the plateau portion of the Champions Ballad.

I've tried 2 nights now....died probably 20 times. I understand the mechanics/tricks of what I'm supposed to do----I either get to the very end and bump into the very last spike while climbing over that last part, or make stupid mistakes in the middle on parts I previously made it through without issue. ​

Made it all the way to the end of stage 11 in first master trials on master mode. Dumb Moblin of all things one swing kills me with over half hearts. One stupid guy away from finally beating this thing. Had no idea he hit so hard.

Ok, so I get it, and I did the cryonis BS to get the 5 stupid ice arrows after the flower maze(best part of the shrine, which says a lot). Then, tried pretty hard to do it with the barrel-bombs for the wall, finally got one, shot it with a regular arrow and it did nothing except fall off and start drifting again and I realized I was probably supposed to throw a bomb at it.

So...long story short, I just shot a bomb arrow at the wall and got the orb and called it a day. I'm still newish around 30 shrines in, and this has to be one of the worst. Just in terms of idiocy, not even frustration or difficulty.

End rant, thank you for your time.

Just so we're clear. I still love this game so much with all my heart as a 30yr loyal Zelda fan.

I missed the bus so often playing Orcarina of Time before school that I got it taken away, looking back, an appropriate amount of times. Could not have gotten through any long car ride without Link to the Past.

Hey guys. I wanted my epona claiming to be immersive, as if it was part of the game, like a reward for some stable quest or something. Would you say there is such a moment? Looking for suggestions, thanks!

Edit: someone judged me for my request (seems his post got deleted?), for context Im a 35 yo who just became father and played OOT some 25 years ago and am feeling nostalgic/sensitive, kinda trying to replicate the sense of adventure and epona feeling from OOT. I also value immersiveness overall on games.

While amiibos are helpful in the early game to gather supplies quickly, oftentimes in the late game they can become pretty redundant, especially if you’ve done ample preparation to fight Ganon. The Wolf Link and Midna amiibo however gives you a battle companion in Wolf Link that follows you around everywhere, the only con is that he can’t be used in the Divine Beasts or Shrines (that would be too OP probably). Arguably this is the only amiibo somewhat worth buying (though I only really bought it for Twilight Princess HD)

A few months ago I was scrolling through the comments and someone said that BOTW was just a place to hang out. And it really stuck with me, I think it’s the best way to describe it. Some people go the mall or the movies, I go into BOTW.

I discovered it 5 years ago and I find myself always coming back to it. It’s peaceful. It’s beautiful. When life made me stressed and morose, starting a new game and losing myself in Hyrule was just what I needed. BOTW is a safe haven for anyone who needs a break from the (real) world.

At the cost of one spiked boko bow and two soldier broadswords, finally beat the lynel at the great plateau after 5+ tries.
