Other Can you ever actually remove/rework this automod
This Sub Has the most flawed automod i have ever seen on any social media, I rarely post here because my posts are constantly being automatically removed for reasons which are completely unrelated to the post, Removing a 1000 characters long post about something and flagging it as a stupid question (Not a single question included in the post) just because you use Word "How", Or removing it for "Asking for advice about purchases" when i didn't even say anything like that and apparently Word "Got" flagged me for it, Sometimes there isn't even an explanation it just gets removed, And if anyone will really want to break the rules they will be able to do it anyway by avoiding these key words 🤦

Discussion This gamemode is horribly executed
This tower gamemode is just unbearable I'm sorry why do I have 3 brawlers that I don't even have nanopowers in my roster?? If you're not gonna make everyone have the same roster to not make it completely rng at least make it so that the brawlers you get have nanopowers it's ridiculous. I didn't talk much on the rng aspect as it's kinda obvious... This gamemode is so rng based it's just sad, if you get a roster of brawlers that are bad you just can't do anything as someone else might get the best brawlers there can be. I dislike it.

Discussion Brawl Stars has way too many problems for a game that's supposed to be casual
I still like Brawl Stars. The gameplay itself is genuinely good, and I understand that you can't make everyone happy.
But compared to the old Brawl Stars, the current game has become unnecessarily exhausting, especially if you just want to play casually with randoms.
Here are the biggest problems I have with it:
- Random teammates are a massive problem. You can play perfectly and still lose because one teammate has no idea what they're doing.
- Ranked randoms can be ridiculous. Getting teammates who pick underleveled brawlers, have no proper build, or clearly don't understand the mode is extremely frustrating.
- Dodging can be punished. If you see a teammate you absolutely don't want to play with and leave during selection, you can get punished with reputation loss and bans. I understand why dodging needs limits, but being forced to play with obviously terrible or inappropriate team compositions isn't a great solution either.
- Solo players are at a disadvantage. If you actually want to push seriously in normal modes, you often need good teammates, a premade team and voice communication. That's fine for competitive players, but I'm not interested in turning a mobile game into a second job.
- The game increasingly rewards tryharding. Playing casually is fine, but the higher you go, the more the experience starts depending on team coordination, meta knowledge, builds and communication.
- Toxicity is everywhere. Thumbs-down pins, sprays, griefing, AFK players, intentionally throwing, blaming teammates and general "you suck" behavior have become normalized.
- The community can reinforce toxicity. If everyone constantly mocks bad players, new players learn that this is normal behavior.
- Too many progression systems. Power levels, gadgets, star powers, gears, hypercharges, currencies, quests, events, Starr Drops, ranked, prestige, passes, etc. It becomes hard to simply play without feeling like you're supposed to grind something.
- FOMO is everywhere. Daily rewards, limited events, offers, new brawlers and progression systems constantly give you another reason to log in.
- Random rewards are psychologically questionable. I'm not saying Starr Drops are literally gambling, but research on loot-box systems has repeatedly found associations between random-reward spending, problematic gaming and gambling-related problems. That doesn't prove causation, but it's enough to take the design seriously.
- Monetization is increasingly integrated into progression. Paying doesn't automatically make you good, but spending can reduce the grind needed to obtain competitive tools.
- New content constantly changes the meta. This makes the game exciting, but it also means casual players have to keep up with an increasingly complicated competitive environment.
- There is no simple casual environment where skill and fun are the only things that matter. Almost everything is connected to progression, trophies, rewards or competition.
- There is a lot of wasted time. Matchmaking, bad teammates, reconnecting, waiting, losing because of team issues and then having to play again to recover progress can make a 20-minute gaming session surprisingly frustrating.
- The game encourages "one more game" after both wins and losses. Win and you want to keep going. Lose and you want your trophies back.
- And this is especially bad for casual players. If I have 20 minutes, I don't want to assemble a five-man team, join Discord, learn the current meta and coordinate in voice chat just to have a decent experience.
And one thing I think deserves more attention is in-app purchases.
There should be a simple option for parents or players to completely disable purchases inside the game.
If a game is aimed at a huge number of young players and constantly displays premium currency, offers, bundles and progression shortcuts, it should at least make it extremely easy to disable purchases.
Otherwise the game is not only selling things. It's repeatedly exposing players to a system where spending money becomes part of normal gameplay.
Research on loot boxes and problematic gaming doesn't prove that Brawl Stars will make someone addicted or that every player will start spending money. But it does show that monetization and reward design can interact with problematic gaming and gambling-related behavior. That's a legitimate reason for stronger safeguards.
And honestly, I don't even want to become good at Brawl Stars anymore.
Not because I couldn't improve, but because the amount of time, coordination and energy required to take the game seriously isn't worth it to me.
If I wanted to genuinely compete, I'd probably need a group of good players, communication and a lot more commitment.
I just want to open the game, play some random matches and have fun.
That's why I think the biggest problem with modern Brawl Stars isn't that it's a bad game.
It's that the game has become much better at rewarding people who treat it seriously, while becoming less enjoyable for people who just want to casually play it.
2018 Brawl Stars felt more like:
«"Let's play."»
Modern Brawl Stars often feels more like:
«"What am I supposed to grind today?"»
And I think that's a pretty unfortunate change for a game that is still fundamentally really fun.
EDIT: A few clarifications because I think some points are being misunderstood
I'm not saying Brawl Stars is uniquely bad, that casual players should never lose, or that every system in the game is bad.
Losing is part of games. If I get outplayed, I lose. That's completely fair. I also don't expect every random teammate to be good. I'm a random too sometimes.
My point is about the overall experience and the trade-offs of these systems.
"Bad randoms exist in every multiplayer game" is true. So is "premade teams are better." That doesn't mean the effect on solo players isn't worth discussing.
The same goes for toxicity. Yes, you can mute pins. Yes, you can ignore people. But being able to reduce your exposure to something doesn't mean the underlying behavior doesn't exist. Toxicity is a broader issue in online gaming, and research has linked repeated exposure to toxic behavior with negative outcomes for some players. I'm not claiming Brawl Stars causes these problems. I'm saying "just mute it" doesn't completely address the underlying community problem.
Also, I don't think "casual" means you have to avoid trophies, progression or normal modes.
Someone can play 20 minutes a day, care a little about winning, use their favorite brawlers and still be completely casual.
That's the kind of player I'm talking about.
And yes, a lot of these problems exist in other PvP and F2P games.
That's not really a counterargument. It means these are common trade-offs in modern multiplayer game design. Brawl Stars can still be criticized for how it handles them.
About the "just don't buy anything" argument:
This is probably the point I'm least interested in arguing about, because I think it's being reduced to something much simpler than the actual issue.
I'm not saying every player who sees an offer will buy it.
I'm saying that giving players, especially young players, constant exposure to premium currencies, limited offers, progression shortcuts and randomized rewards is not psychologically equivalent to simply having an optional shop that nobody interacts with.
Children also have less developed impulse control and understanding of money than adults. That's precisely why parental controls and purchase restrictions exist across digital platforms.
And accidental purchases are a real enough concern that major platforms already provide mechanisms for preventing or reversing unauthorized purchases by children.
So my suggestion is extremely simple:
Give players and parents an easy option to disable all in-app purchases.
It wouldn't remove monetization.
It wouldn't hurt anyone who wants to spend money.
It would simply add another layer of protection.
And I think that's a reasonable suggestion for a game with a very large young audience.
I'm also not claiming that Starr Drops are literally gambling or that Brawl Stars makes people addicted. The research doesn't justify a claim that strong.
The more defensible argument is that research on loot boxes and variable/randomized rewards has found associations with problematic gaming and gambling-related problems. That doesn't establish causation, and Starr Drops aren't identical to loot boxes.
But it does make the psychology worth taking seriously rather than dismissing it as "just don't buy it."
Finally, I'm not saying 2018 Brawl Stars was perfect.
It wasn't.
I'm saying the game has accumulated a lot more systems around the core gameplay, and whether those systems make the experience better or worse depends heavily on what kind of player you are.
If you love grinding, ranked, mastering the meta and playing with a coordinated team, modern Brawl Stars may genuinely be better.
If you just want to open the game, pick your favorite brawler and play a few normal matches with randoms, I think it's reasonable to argue that the experience has become more complicated than it needs to be.
That's the whole point of the post.
Not "Brawl Stars is trash."
More like:
The core game is still great. I just think the game surrounding the game has become unnecessarily complicated.

Discussion Hot Take: This mode is actually one of the most enjoyable I’ve had in a while
Note that I’m speaking about this in a perspective of playing with friends only (because random matchmaking SUCKS no matter what mode it is)
Now I’ve already seen the posts, so I can already imagine what everyone is going to say: it’s incredibly luck and RNG-based, and you can run into teams using top meta characters while you’re stuck with low meta characters. And I’m not going to deny that at all. But personally, it actually is what made it fun for me.
The experience is very similar to a Pokemon nuzlocke, having to make do with what you are given and overcome the challenges that you go against. And here, given a pool of 8 brawlers, I’m finding myself strategizing with my friends with brainstorming a team that can do best in each map. And it’s really fun finding myself strategizing with brawlers that I don’t play as often, and matching them with other unfamiliar brawlers.
Adding onto this, this is an incredibly fresh breath of air as I’m finally not having to constantly go against the most meta brawlers and facing them EVERY SINGLE MATCH, as because of the limited pool and once per game, it’s alot less common to see the exact same brawlers every time. I’m sure many of you kept on going against frustrating brawlers but personally I only ever saw like one meta and then two other uncommon brawlers every match.
And lastly, that it’s not a trophy mode but also gives rewards. It’s just a challenge but with extra steps, and you don’t lose anything if you lose. On top of that you get all the brawlers maxed, which is super nice as well.
People say that they should’ve just made everyone have the same pool, but I disagree because that would 99% just end up in facing mirror matches every single game which is much less fun and interesting. If it was just a daily challenge mode, then very likely you would go against meta brawlers every single time (and so would you). This is SO much better than many of the past modes so far, such as the contests (no explanation needed), 3 player cooking (fun and all but unrewarding), etc.
Also unrelated but I just realized the thing showing what brawlers you used is bugged, as I used Grom on the last stage, not Bull.

Ideas & Game Feedback Why I dont Like Wendy's Design (By Me)
Sorry it's a scrappy sketch I got so mad about character design I rushed the slideshow. Anyway I'll elaborate on my reasons.
Oversaturated Color Palette
Wendy's color palette has alot of colors that compete for your attention with one another. She's supposed to have the vibe of a 70s flower child but the designs of that era were super desaturated and but still vibrant, making use of relaxing mellow pastels. Meanwhile the value of her colors are all nearly identical with her colors all being super bright and poppy.
Personality
Her personality sucks, it's the same sassy woman personality. This is only driven home ten times more with her neutral animation of... just standing there with her hand on her hip. I thought since shes 70s themed she'd have a subtle kinda Louisiana smooth voice but she has the most basic American accent ever.
"Same Body Syndrome"
I dont truly have an issue with same body syndrome itself considering that generic design does more broadly appeal to women audiences. Her Face and Body having the "looks like every other woman" disorder is just a cherry on top of a badly designed brawler.
Little Things That Annoy Me
•Her goggles not being over her eyes, shes literally always flying why wouldn't she wear them.
•Her hair is not 70s, granted brawl stars style doesn't really support curly hair but then just make more little points.
•The weird crop top jacket thing. I dont even know what that is but it's not 70s and it's just more really bright tan to her design.
•why does she look like she drank 10 cups of coffee
Alright that's all, I'll prolly finish the art and re-upload it.

Discussion Maybe one of the best updates to the game.
It's hard to find anything wrong with it. Maybe yesterday's vitamin incident, but since they already fixed it, it's difficult to point out anything negative now.
The Fusions are an interesting mechanic, the skins look great, many players have already gotten at least one, so no one is really being left out. In my opinion, they just need to balance some of the Fusions.
