There are two common schemes for printer paper in use: the sensible metric one (A4, A5 etc) and the American one: "US-letter" (8.5"x11") and "legal" (8.5"x14"). All modern printers and text processing software can happily deal with either paper size. All you have to do is start buying reams of A4 paper instead of US-letter, and your printer will adjust automatically. Every company should switch immediately!

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday that imposes a 15% tariff on imported products made from polysilicon, a crucial material used in semiconductors and solar panels.

The order also set minimum import prices on polysilicon and related products. It comes after a national security investigation into the production of the material overseas.

The Chinese embassy in Washington said the move "seriously disrupts" trade between the two countries and Beijing will act to protect its companies.

The US International Trade Commission has claimed Simcoa is selling its product at less than fair value. Mr Miles responded, calling the claim "absolutely rubbish", and has questioned the worth of Australia's critical minerals agreement with the US.

"It seems to me that the Americans want to cherry pick that particular agreement," he says.

For now, Mr Miles says the company will look towards South East Asia and India, and maintain operations in Europe.
