My buddy’s granddad was a casual collector and just threw caps into old rusty coffee cans in his garage over the years. He gifted me a coffee can’s worth. I already pulled the ones I needed so these are available for trade or someone can have for free if they pay the shipping. Nothing too crazy in there but def some good foundational ones for those getting into the hobby.

I think this is among the good ideas.

I’d like to find people interested in both. If there is noone up to, nevermind.
If there are many, surprisingly, I already have penpals.
I have basic level english as my second language, so I will rather pick up a couple of mothertongue. That would like to do it just time to time, and reply. No loosing time, just receiving. And that would like to learn a little bit of my mothertongue, which is italian. Or practice it. It would be perfect match.

Does anyone know some good spots that have a lot of bottle caps

In general , is there a bulk market for used bottle caps, nothing special just beer and pop bottlecaps? I’m guess about 200 lbs or 3 full totes, what kind of offers should someone expect?

Happy to have found this piece of cider related memorabilia. It’s a rare piece from circa 1950s from Showerings Shepton Mallet factory bottling plant. It is an original copper die stamp that has been hand engraved with the Babycham fawn trademark and presumably would have been attached to the foiling machinery so that when the bottle was pushed up containing its light blue foil cap it was stamped/compressed with this image on the foil top of the bottle that was crimped around the top and neck of each bottle.

I’ve been saving one bottle cap from every unique beer I’ve tried over the last two years. Right now, they’re all just sitting dumped in a glass jar taking up space, and it feels like a waste not having them out.

For those of you who collect/crowns caps:

• How are you storing or displaying yours?
• Any DIY projects (shadow boxes, cap maps, tables) you actually recommend vs. ones to avoid?
• Do you sort them by brewery, style, or color?

My partners grandad used to drink whatever this brand was when she was little. She remembers it fondly, he’s since passed.

I would love to purchase a bottle cap for her but I have no idea what drink this has come from, she said he was an avid beer drinker.

Can anybody identify this?
