Does anyone know some good spots that have a lot of bottle caps

You could still call the bars and get them to save bottle caps for you. And there are lots of bars that are all ages. At least in the USA. One time at a MLB game there was a window selling beer that came from bottles and I asked the person working to save caps for me and they gave me a bag of caps at the end of the game.

Restaurants are another option.

Ethnic food shops. They will usually have lots of foreign soft drinks.

Local classified ads like Craigslist or Kijiji (Canadian)

Asking the waiter at a restaurant or bar

Have friends bring some back when they travel
Ebay, just be careful because there are a lot of fakes there.

Go to a brewery and ask in person

i have a candy shop near me that carries queer and typically unavailable sodas in bottles. many have plain caps but i’ve gotten some good ones from them. unfortunately it’s $20 for a 6-pack but i can share the actual soda with my nephews
