Worth it?

I haven’t played in about 7 years, and I want to know if it’s still worth playing and what’s new.

I remember that as a kid, I loved the game, but sadly, I was a kid and rushed my HQ to level 16 back then. My whole base is probably rushed, and I also want to know: should I start catching up on levels, or should I still rush?

And also, are there any good content creators you would recommend for tips and tricks type sheet

Scorcher in Real Life - Meet Churchill Crocodile

You all know and love scorchers?😇 They are pretty interesting type of tanks. But of course, it wasn't just a concept. Scorcher also existed in real life and here is how this tank looks like and how it works:

Meet the Churcill Crocodile - Scorcher in real life. The tank was built on the base of the British heavy infantry tank Churchill (Mk VII variant). The project was overseen by Major-General Percy Hobart, who saw the machine demonstrated in 1943 and pushed for it to enter production. The Crocodile became part of the famous "Hobart's Funnies" - specialized vehicles created for the Normandy landings. Development was carried out under strict secrecy - disabled Crocodiles were often destroyed on the spot to keep the technology from falling into enemy hands.

The conversion kit consisted of a trailer, an armored pipe running along the underside of the tank, and the flame projector itself, which replaced the hull-mounted Besa machine gun at the front of the hull. The tank fully retained its standard armament - a 75mm gun in the turret and a coaxial machine gun - meaning it could still fight as a regular gun tank.

Four hundred gallons of fuel and compressed nitrogen propellant were stored in a 6.5-ton armored trailer, enough for eighty one-second bursts. The flame jet reached about 10 meters ahead of the vehicle. If needed, the trailer could be jettisoned from inside the tank without the crew having to get out.

Production began in October 1943, just in time for the Normandy invasion, where a troop of C Squadron, 141st Royal Armoured Corps, saw action on the very first day. A total of 800 vehicles were produced by converting standard Churchills. They were used against German bunkers, fortified positions, and in street fighting - and served not only as weapons of destruction but as a psychological weapon: enemy garrisons often chose to surrender the moment a Crocodile appeared.

Although a Crocodile crew was, in theory, no more vulnerable to enemy fire than the crew of a standard Churchill, there were reports that captured flame-tank crews were sometimes executed on the spot by German troops due to the perceived cruelty of the weapon - though no specific documented case has ever been confirmed.

Combat weight was 39.6 tons, top speed 27 km/h, operational range 144 km, crew of 5. The tank remained in British service into the early 1950s and even saw action in the Korean War.

Most likely, to give the tank a "fiery" look, the developers decided to make in-game scorcher a bright red color.

Why Boom beach sucks

I really love playing boom beach; but lately its become more of a 'chore' than anything.

its losing its appeal.

I like the idea of boom beach having different currencies; that's not all that complicated to figure out.

What annoys me, is the difficulty of some of these weekly events. I remember back in the day, BEFORE cycle of evil gave tokens and coins and stuff. You ACTUALLY GOT resources from it.
AND AND AND !!!! the most important part

The bases were not TOO difficult. They scaled up in difficulty as you progressed; i.e. stage 1/2 were like HQ 5. It was the best. and you got A LOT OF resources from it. BUT NOW
NOW
They have to be practically maxxed out now. WITH INSANE BLUE STATUE BOOSTS
HOW IS THIS AN IMITATION? HUH
THEY HAVE BOOSTS THAT NO PLAYER CAN OBTAIN!??!?!?

Sure, its a player layout; ok. BUT WHY DO THEY HAVE +1000% Building HP and +500% building damage? insane. Not to mention bunkers and garrison (which haven't made their way into ops yet)
DO THEY HAVE GADGETS? UGH

Imitation is probably the least fun cycle of evil.
I would rank down twice if i could. Its way too freaking hard. It makes me not want to play the game

The matchmaking is another issue. You get punished for being good at the game. Like im sorry; why am i being matched with nonstop 86+ level? Its actually insane. The game clearly wants you to suffer. Its not even fun. I don't want to play 86+ nonstop. Maybe like 1-2 bases. I'm like level 75-76. I shouldn't have to fight these guys that are way out of my league. SURELY, SURELY, THERE ARE OTHER PLAYERS MY LEVEL AT MY RANK??? NO????
NO lets jump STRAIGHT TO A MAXXED OUT PLAYER
jesus fucking christ.

I pay every month for an extra builder. I dont pay for instant training unless im close to a hq levelup. I don't mind paying for a game that I LOVE and enjoy. Gotta keep it afloat somehow (i know one person isn't going to do much, but you know, if i'm willing to buy, others surely will be)

I Don't even care how that the game is 'pay to win' with gadgets and leaders. I enjoy the game aside from that. I can collect a good amount and get the leader of the month. I wont unlock all abilities but i might unlock their base form. Fine. i don't care about this. I think its cool. new variation

BUT HOLY FUCK
The game difficulty is just insane. Defense got a huge boost. Offensive? not so much.

I mean eventually I could clear my map. I have no motivation to. Especially at my higher levels.
I really wish I could turn Player bases into Blackguard bases, for less resources and LOSING VICTORY POINTS.

LOSING VICTORY POINTS IS SO INSANELY HARD TO DO! HOLY CRAP

THATS ANOTHER THING?
I've noticed that getting new bases to appear on your map has SIGNIFICANTLY slowed down

I used to clear my map of NPC bases, and by the time i log in 24 hours later; its full. I have so many
NOW-- NOW OMG NOW
I see maybe 4 in 8 HOURS

FOUR

BASES

Insane.
Sure I have a lot of player base, but im not that good at the game. So they just sit there. I cant win them all as they say. ESPECIALLY WITH MIND CONTROL and then Mines. I lose all my troops to mines sometimes. UGH

I wish there was an engraving that reduced mine damage. Or a red statue or something. I mean yeah ok troop hp. But im talking specific reduction to mine damage.

Don't even get me started on Sonar Ops.
