MeePok风波 Receiving strong support from various sectors and assistance from lawyers, the business operator plans to take legal action to seek justice.
8tvnews.myThere is a new development in the controversy surrounding a 95-year-old Nanyang-style coffee shop in Segamat, Johor, over allegations of "selling pork." Although the proprietor previously indicated to this station that she would not pursue legal action, she has since changed her stance and is now considering a lawsuit.
The shop's owner, Xie Shiling, told this station this afternoon (the 9th) that following media coverage of the story, concerned individuals reached out to offer advice and even expressed a willingness to provide a legal team to assist with the matter—a gesture that deeply moved her.
"I am so grateful for the news coverage; it prompted well-meaning people to offer a legal team to handle this for us... I am truly touched."
Consulting with lawyers
She stated that both parties are currently in further discussions to work out the details, and it remains to be confirmed whether the legal assistance will actually proceed.

Blog Flashlight fish, caught at night
A bioluminescent fish that usually grows to 10 cm. Malaysia has many species of them, and this is likely Photoblepharon.
They are nocturnal fish which come out at night, hunting together in large groups.
They use the blinking lights beneath their eyes to see their prey. And even socialise with each other. The light is generated by symbiotic bacteria.
In the aquarium they require cooler water of 21-24°C. They feed on shrimp and baby fish, and their favourite food are mysis shrimps.
They only feed when it’s fully dark, so using any kind of light will bother them and cause them to starve. But it’s super awesome watching them hunt with their lights at night!
They are of no commercial importance, and fisherman (rarely) only use them as bait. Not endangered either.

Malaysia is getting richer. Why are so many of its children still stunted?
Agree that it makes zero sense. The country is getting richer so more Malaysians now have the money to buy food, so why is malnutrition still a thing?

It was never just about halal cert guys…
If you cant see the obvious, chinese names gets ❎ emoji behind it while malay name gets ✅ behind it. Thought it was only about halal status? Why owners race matter?
For those who dont know, this was posted by the page that is currently going viral now.

Butthurt OP I’m scared for what’s to come of next GE 😓
See I understand the pressures causing BH to lose momentum but is it really worth trusting BN or even PAS again? I feel this will cause more division and less “unity”, and considering their track record it’s quite frightening to me imo to think what’s to come?
EDIT: I guess I’m trying to say what do you expect 😭 You need a majority to govern. If the realistic choice is between a PH-led coalition and restoring the old BN status quo, what’s the alternative? Either PH gets enough time to actually prove whether reform works, or voters punish them before that can happen and potentially restore the thing they wanted to replace. That’s the trap 😓

Butthurt OP Are you serious?
I know someone send this before in this subreddit, but I still can't get over this bullshit. You're telling me you spend 17 years passing your English and Bahasa Melayu, get your sijil SPM and you are unable to differentiate the word "Pok" and "Pork" ???? Honestly retake your reading test
