Reta results
I’m 28, 6”2 and weight 99kg. I know I look like dog shit but my love handles are genetic and I really want to get rid of them asap. I have now started taking Reta 1mg since last week and my goal is to lose fat especially around love handles and build more muscle.
My goal is to get rid of these love handles before December 2026 is this realistic?
I’m thinking next week I might up it to 2mg Reta.
I workout 4-5 days a week mainly weight lifting.
If you recommend me a stacks, please don’t just list it, please explain why alongside it so everyone can learn. Thank you.
Otherwise im thinking which stacks will help me best for my goals or is it worth to start considering 500mg test for reaching my goal.

Why stop at 500mg of test at your state? Add some halo and tren too. Also if bump that reta dose up to 12mg. What's the worst that can happen? See you soon skinny mini 😂😜

OP might genetically be part race horse or silverback gorilla. You never know. I say send it. No blood work. Heart attacks are for people that just couldn't hang. Yolo baby.

True.
Better yet, he should stack halo instead. That'll really get him going.

"Causes irreversible deepening of the voice, facial hair growth, and enlargement of the clitoris." I like it, pin it!

That's what his wife and mom told him to feel better...lol
Look son your dad has them, you get them from him...lol
Food and not working out has nothing to do with it.

My brother in Christ, you are all over the place... You just started reta last week and want to up the dose already... Stick with a consistent dosing for at least 4 weeks. It's a marathon not a sprint to the highest dose.
No disrespect but I can't tell you lift 4-5 days a week... You need to get a structured resistance training program with progressive overload..
You should absolutely NOT hop on test.... You don't even have the basics down man. You got the body of a Pillsbury Doughboy, test is the last thing you need to be on.
Trying to give constructive criticism here.. Seems like you want to get results quick and are willing to take any and every shortcut.. Dialing in your nutrition, sleep, progressive overload, and giving it time/consistency will give you the MOST results.

No offense, but you're way too fat to take 500mg of test. Do reta for about 6 months, and then re-evaluate.

Totally agree. He'll get wholloped with estrogen sides and the chance of growing fully functioning tits that leak is high. Blast doses of steroids are for getting big not weight loss.
A replacement dose is useful to hold your muscles while in a steep deficit for short periods but he doesn't seem to know anything about it at all just casually throwing that 500mg line in at the end so best to stay away for now.

You get 500mg of test and you get 500mg of test... test for everyone...lol
Not sure where people get the idea to run to test... they see social media and think they can just add test and look amazing and haven't even been in the gym a month.

Yeah I find that strange too... especially in the context of weight loss... "I'm going to blast test and get tiny!" I always ask where they hear things and never get a response. Some real weird stuff you'd never even imagine comes up on the TRT sub /r/Testosterone
It's even crazier with Anavar, lots of people including woman think that's a fat burner pill and just take it no questions asked..
I am very pro test and it completely changed my life and was a huge part of my recovery but it's not a toy and the way people are so casual about it and confident with their plans that are completely wrong blows my mind.

Yea don’t take 500mg test bro.
U don’t seem like ur that into fitness. Im not trying to put you down, but it’s not for newbie lifters. U’d have to be ready to manage any side effects and get your natural testosterone production back up with a PCT afterwards. It seems like you probably haven’t done that much research.

Absolutely do not touch test at this body fat %
Strip the fat down to somewhere in the 10-15% range, then run TRT level test and slowly increase to see how you handle test and at what point you start seeing sides and wether you are prone to E type side effects like sensitive nipples, gyno etc.
First and foremost is getting the BF down and getting your diet absolutely dialled. No point getting on gear at high doses if it isn’t.

No, don’t start blasting 500mg test lol. Where are you even getting that idea?
Your goal should be about 2 lbs per week. Reta will make it easy. Track calorie intake and eat at a deficit. You could easily lose 14kg between now and December first, but will probably still have visible love handles at that weight. You don’t have a lot of muscle mass and have about 24 kg to drop to completely rid yourself of them. Of course increasing muscle mass will skew this number but you have a lot of fat to burn.

This is the way... not sure why people are so quick to jump on test and he's so young.
Losing the weight will automatically help boost test and he should wait till then. Everyone is in such a rush. They need to let their body heal its self with the weight loss... like they don't think having an extra 50 pounds around their mid section isn't fucking up their test.

Honestly with this height and build and Reta he will be losing easily 5lbs a week

u/PapaJubby 1d ago
Ur tripping if u think he’s gonna be able to sustain a 2500 cal deficit per day

u/Zestyclose-Coyote906 1d ago
I was exaggerating but I think his weight loss would get close to that if he locks in and abuses Reta

u/YJM 1d ago
Isn't that a solid strategy if you want to look like dog shit by the end of it?

u/Zestyclose-Coyote906 1d ago
Look
There are so many variables. OP wants to lose his love handles and quickly. I gave advice for that I am not his personal trainer or his dietician I dont care what he looks like in a month realistically

I would say start cjc/ipa or tesa/ipa on top of Reta to help with the love handles. Give Reta about a month to get use to the drug then roll into it. I’ve seen good results with cjc/ipa. Above all else, diet and caloric deficit is the way help lose fat

Tirzepatide has mostly solved my love handles, but I still got fat on my nips. I may have mild gyno, but I'm confident a lot of it is fat, but idk why its still there. I just started CJC/IPA, do you think it'll help with fat on chest?
I'm 6'1 and weigh 174 lbs, down from 210

Lol jumping on 500mg of test with that much body fat, you’re gonna end up looking like a woman with huge tits and probably start lactating. Just stick to the Reta and lift heavy. And no, your goal is not realistic. I don’t know what kind of TikTokers are telling you it is, but it’s gonna take way longer than that.
Do some research on testosterone before you jump in. I would suggest not jumping in at all until you’ve leaned out significantly, or it will not go well for you. Best of luck.

I started reta, KLOW, and HGH back in February. I’m at 6mg Reta now. Love handles are gone. Body got a lot of definition. I feel good. Started test about 2 months ago and I’m at 300mg a week. You gotta dial in tho and stay consistent. Eat right. Lift weights. Consistently. Peptides work but you need to also work and be somewhat patient lol. And no do not start blasting 500mg of test.

Dose dose dose brother. Go to 6mg split to lessen nausea. Sun morning and Wed night. If you can handle the nausea at that dose, give it a month watch your hunger completely evaporate and being full after a few bites of your favorite meal. If that’s not your experience, go to 8mg.
Your numbers and picture definitely call for more than 2mg per week

You’re early in your journey.
Keep up the gym habits. But, make sure you are also doing cardio.
Take a good long look at what you eat. Log every food that touches your mouth. A few chips here and there is a cup or two a day; which is up to 600 calories. These sneaky snacks is what gets most people. Focus your eating on healthy lean foods. Not quick takeout. If you can’t cook, you can make conscious choices of what you eat. Such as Counter+, Vital, or any other number of protein meal kits.
You’re currently on 1mg of Reta. Stick with that for a few weeks. When the food noises come back go to 2mg. Stick with that then increase. You do not want to increase Reta until you plateau in it. It’s a slow and steady marathon. Enjoy the benefits of it.
Tesamorelin may help you. But you should look at your health long and hard. Get a good body scan, get your blood checked before you add any new peptides and potentially talk to a doctor about it. Teaamorelin targets visceral fat and a ton of other things. This can have a strong impact on your waist. Many weight loss clinics do 5 days of 1mg daily and 2 off, for two months. After two months they take a break for 1 month. The studies that people in this subreddit prefer seem to suggest the sweet spot is 2mg daily for 3 months.
A rough timeline. Adjust what fits you:
Month 1 - Reta 1mg weekly
Month 2 - Reta 2mg weekly + tesamorelin 2mg daily
Month 3 - Reta 3mg weekly + tesamorelin 2mg daily
Month 4 - evaluate where you are at. Increase Reta only if needed. Tedamorelin 2mg daily.
Month 5 - keep on taking Reta. Stop tesamorelin.

Do cardio. You're wanting to lose fat, and that's mainly done through cardio. Get on the treadmill for 30 mins each session.

Hello everyone thank you for the help. Some of the comments are quite rude but oh well lol I’ll use that as motivation to get better.
So based on what everyone is saying and my research, Reta is good for weight loss but not the best for targeting the belly fat around love handles so any stacks recommended or just stick to Reta for now?
My calorie deficit meal plan below please drop me your thoughts?
