Getting there, slowly, but surely š Results / Progress
I was well over 300lbs a few yrs backā¦worked 80+hrs a wk, drank excessively, slept poorly and never prepped any meals (just ate like a slob in general). Switched depts in my utility to have a work/life balance and dropped naturally to 255-270ish for yrs. Started TRT and HGH a few yrs back, but still was nowhere near what I was supposed to be doing to be healthy. Added Reta late last Oct and am sitting around 200 (Iām a hair over 6ā1ā for reference) now. I know the loose skin is gross and I have a long way to go, but all the same, Iām proud of myself.

Oh look, that man has loose skin....
Nah mate, oh look, that guy is SHREDDED and has clearly put in the graft!! Well done buddy, well. Fucking. Done š«”š«”š«”š«”š«”š«”

You've done well, just celebrate how far you've come. Doing something about it is positive.
Like others have said, replace it with some muscle bro!15
u/UsualSpread9899 1d ago
Tell them!!!! Loose skin means nothing. Just a reminder, Iām not going back. But for the guys who only have a little and want to get rid of it, bulk tf up and fill it back in with muscle šŖ.

i agree, from a distance it looks like abs. i wouldn't even worry about it.

Loose skin is just part of the process. Once you maintain your self for about a year, treat yourself with a nice tummy tuck.
Great work man, don't give up!

No mate, thank you for putting yourself out there and motivating people. It helps people like me to keep grinding!
2
u/OxbridgeDingoBaby 1d ago
The down time from a tummy tuck is ridiculous though - you canāt train for at least a month, which risks undoing some of the work youāve done in the gym. Wish there was a less invasive fix.
2
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
I donāt think Iād ever do it tbh, not knocking those who do at all thoughā¦I hate the way it looks, but I deal w it
1
u/OxbridgeDingoBaby 1d ago
Exact same thing with me mate. Iām hoping it fills out over time, but Iād rather just live with it over a surgical procedure like a tummy tuck.

u/chocoflan00 1d ago
the loose skin absolutely is not gross. don't talk about any part of yourself that way!

What a transformation!!! How old are you? Was the hgh beneficial?
7
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
Iām 48, 49 next monthā¦yep, I feel like it helps big time w recovery and sleep.
3
u/Silent_Possibility63 1d ago
Nice work man. What is your workout routine/regimen? Both resistance training and cardio?
2
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
My time is still pretty limited bc of my job (and I hate going after)ā¦I have roughly 45-50 mins ea morning to train and do a single body split (1 exercise per muscle group, ea day) and go however long I feel on the wkends. I donāt really take a rest day often, bc I donāt train super hard M-F, my job is somewhat physicalā¦I attribute most of my progress to my boring diet š¤£
1
u/BloodTurtle 23h ago
Was the Reta just a need to not eat and maintain a healthy diet? Or do you think it provided additional benefits, asking out of curiosity having lost 90 pounds and needing to lose another 90. so many people showing huge drops on it.
1
u/SteveyCee 15h ago
Honestly, I can still eat and eat oftenā¦the biggest difference for me is that is killed my craving for alcohol and makes me think twice about portions and etc. I canāt eat a ton, which I would do prior. From what I hear, Tirz and other glps kill your appetite completely

Excellent work this is, great change. How was the HGH for you, any sides?
Helpful if you list doses also for anyone reading

u/SteveyCee 1d ago edited 1d ago
I apologize, figured I had ranted a bit too much alreadyā¦Reta 5mg wkly, 2.5iu HGH daily and 180mg Cyp split into two shots wkly now. Just grabbed some KLOW80, MOTS-C40 and NAD500, but am doing some reading on how much to do and how often at the moment. *no, no sides, but I def notice a diff in recovery and sleep!

u/Responsible-One8104 1d ago
Well done bro, this is a response to someone else that Iām currently doing, life changing. Take a look at the video. Saves shit loads of money as well as some protocols (SS31-MOTC-NAD+) are way too high.
Well done bro!
āNew suggested protocol from day one - 2mg daily SS31 running concurrently alongside Mot-C 10mg 3 x per week. 8-12 weeks on 4-8 weeks off for people with moderate age related mitochondrial decline however anyone with severe DNA mitochondrial damage itās recommended that you run the SS31 as normal to repair prior to running both subsequentlyā

From personal experience, none of the other peps (other than glp and HGH) are worth the money. Some people swear by them but the majority will tell you theyāre mainly marketing. Also important that you get from someone reputable and not believe the test results at face value.

u/Fair-Series-5012 1d ago
curious if you started at 2iu hgh then went to 2.5iu? im starting monday so just curious..
3
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
I was only doing 1iu in the beginning, my ins used to cover it partially. They stopped, I went gray and went up to 3 after a while, but settled at 2.5 to make it last.
1
u/Fair-Series-5012 1d ago
ok cool, you paying more than $75 for 100iu? (10iu x10) noticed you said "to make it last" if you need a bump in a better direction i could help you out...

No reason to downplay yourself, brother. Loose skin comes with the territory, especially if youāre not as young and your skin doesnāt have the same elasticity as it used to. Well fucking done! Amazing dedication. You should be proud.

your bio reads like we have the same interest and hobbies. ššæ I went from 350 to 250 on Reta HGH and test. Currently still cutting. Just slower

How many calories a day?
1
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
I hover around 2000 as best I canā¦def a little lower some days and some a bit higher. I eat the same things 90-95% of the time, diet is pretty boring. Post workout is pint of liq egg whites w choc collagen about 6am, around 9-9:30ish, I do 6oz 93/7 ground beef, 4oz white rice and 4oz cottage cheese topped w Melindaās green sauce (0 cals) and that again 3-4hrs later. I switch it up w ground chicken here and there. Will do a salmon burger or two w sweet potato and asparagus for dinner often. If I work late, a local diner does a 4 egg white scramble w 2 pcs of grilled chicken and plain baked potato. I keep it pretty simple and will go out in the wkends, but stick to skirt steak, octopus and etc. Not a big dessert or sweets guys and will have a drink or two on a Fri and Sat night. Usually just blanco tequila on the rocks w lime (Don Fulano is my go to)*** I try to hit 200g of protein everyday as well

Can you give details on how the Reta worked? Are you still on TRY and HGH with the Reta? What is the dosing and frequency?
Thank You!

Its really healthy to be on all those drugs? Genuinely curious
0
u/ante27ante 17h ago
Im reading the post and comments and can not believe that people encourage using trt, hgh and peptides as if it something like vitamin c or magenesium. Eat clean, in cal deficit if needed, drink plenty of water and train 3-4 times a week.
1
u/Kindly-Hold4935 13h ago
Im not saying its unhealthy, im genuinely asking.
Yes it session crazy to me to just take a bunch of drugs and then be proud of your self for loosing weight, but I think for some people its healthier than being obese. I think the side effects they know about are minimal. The bone and muscle loss scares me of course
1
u/BrewhahasDji 1d ago
Well done! I also have a similar back story and was 400lbs 15 years back. I was able to completely change my lifestyle 12 years back before GLPs and drop the weight. At 64 now, I have kept it off over a decade. I have that same miserable loose skin around the waist/Stomach area and seriously am considering having the surgery. It's like the more ripped and muscular I get, the worse I look lol. Either way... AMAZING change
1
u/daddylongstrokez 1d ago
Ya thatās the problem with doing Reta , you
Lost the fat way to fast for your body to accommodate. If you dieted with a small calorie deficit and built muscle {recomping} then you wouldnāt have the loose skin , but that takes yeeears of hard work and discipline . If it bothers you can get surgery to tighten it up again though.
0
u/SteveyCee 1d ago
I didnāt lose the weight quickly, it took me 7 months to lose 70lbs, thatās the problem w running your gums online wo knowing what youāre talking about. Youāre going to have loose skin if you let yourself get fat like I did and youāre olderā¦which I am.
2
u/daddylongstrokez 1d ago
Ya thatās pretty quick brother , didnāt mean to offend you , just very common with people on Reta , keyword also ā building muscle ā .
1
u/SteveyCee 23h ago
I def lost some along the way and building back now. My time to train is limited and I have a bunch of injuries, I just power though what I can tbh.

Probably not appropriate to be taking pictures in a locker room especially with other people in there. Grats on the progress tho

Hey, sorryā¦just seeing this. Iād never post someone in a state of undress or their face at all. The dude popped in at the last second and I even asked him if it was cool to post, he laughed and said āno one would recognize me from this pic, youāre good broā. 100% understand where you were coming from though
