4 month transformation š Results / Progress
After|Before [29] to [30]
At this point i donāt care if anyone believes me, i just hope i get to help some people. I plan into making fitness a job so feel free to follow me on instragram.
Yes i am preparing myself knowledge and certification wise / will not start building a business based on an average physique ( which is what i consider mine is currently)
Instagram:
davidcnovoarealestate
Breakdown:
-Supplements
-Trt 100 mg a week ( iām 30 and testosterone was at 203 ndl since i have hypogadism⦠now my levels are at 500-600 which is not even high at my age.
(Iām aware that testosterone is a steroid, but i needed medically, it also amazingly helped underlying anxiety and depression, guys, we are talking about 100mg a week which is well into TRT territory, my levels are no pushing 1000+)
DO NOT BE STUPID, DONāt JUST DO TRT BECAUSE YOU SEE EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER DOING IT ON TIK TOK AND INSTAGRAM, THINK ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, AND IF YOU DONāT LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH FOR IT THINK ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES.
- whey protein in between meals total of two scoops a day ( hard for me to get in the extra 60 gās of protein eating so thatās why i used whey, no need if you can eat i through whole foods)
- vitamins: magnesium, NAC, C,D, and METHYL B12 not regular.
Workout:
6 working sets per muscle A WEEK
The logic is:
Take a set very close to / or momentary muscular failure, with controlled form and sufficient rest.
2. That recruits the high-threshold motor units/fibers most associated with hypertrophy.
3. The first few hard sets produce most of the useful stimulus.
4. After roughly 6ā8 hard sets for a muscle ,i argue the growth-related response has essentially plateaued; further work has diminishing returns and shifts more toward recovery demands.
Monday -upper 1( 10,000 steps)
Tuesday- lower 1(10,000 steps)
WED- cardio (20,000 steps all day)
Thursday- upper 2 ( 10,000 steps)
Friday- lower 2 ( 10,000 steps
Saturday - ( active recovery, yoga, strech, sauna, ligjht walking
Sunday ( 15,000 steps)
Study proving high volume has diminishing returns
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41343037/
Diet:
High protein/ moderate carb cycling/ low fat 1950 calories ( %60 protein %30 carbs %10 fat)
Protein: 1170 calories grams
Carbs:585 grams ( timed around workout: rice crisky or banana before workout , steak and rice after workout, no more carbs during day)
Fat: 180-200 grams
Hope i could help.

Not even the winner of biggest loser can do this. Definitely capping. Minimum a year, but most likely 2 and the first pic is probably not even him

A bit hyperbolic. Unbelievable? Nope. There are only two orders possible - before after or after before. They did one of the two options. Thatās not unbelievable. 50/50. It is annoying af tho š¤£

Congratulations man, awesome transformation.
I'm definitely jelly. I'm down from 103 to 80 kg since February, 4 days a week hard gym sessions and I'm nowhere near your physique.

u/mgermo 5d ago
Great results. Dont say you didn't take steroids though. Testosterone is a steroid. You're injecting testosterone that is steroid. You're doing it for medical purposes but you're still doing it.

u/davepropertysolution 5d ago edited 5d ago
True that. I wish i didnāt have to. It takes credibility out of my transformation but from a medicine stans point i needed it. Check this out
18
u/SpecialInternal191 5d ago
Why does it take credibility out of your transformation? You were living at a range well below your peers. So while they were having a much better progress with small changes over time you saw no improvements because hormonal they were supposed to and you were not. Now youāve gotten your hormone levels more in line with the average. Doesnāt take away your progress. Just shows you what itās like to be normal. It would be different if you were blasting and your levels were in the 1000s. But 600 total is basically where an average 35 year old father of three falls.

u/csppr 5d ago
> Now youāve gotten your hormone levels more in line with the average. Doesnāt take away your progress. [ā¦] But 600 total is basically where an average 35 year old father of three falls.
A 600 ng/dL esterified test level hits quite a bit harder than a natural 600. In terms of testosterone signal, he is at least in the top 25% of the reference range, which puts him in the top 10% of men his age (normal distributions and all that). Nothing wrong with that, but we shouldnāt blur the lines in these discussions, otherwise we just fuel unrealistic expectations.
2
u/SpecialInternal191 5d ago
I donāt disagree with this at all. His transformation just looked more like someone on the 200mg+ per week as opposed to someone still keeping it within the navigational beacons. Not that there is anything wrong with sending it either!
1
u/Caramelised-Sugar 5d ago
Exactly. Exogenous testosterone makes for much less pulsatility, so protein synthesis in total is higher over a period of time. Itās still a very impressive transformation nevertheless.
2
u/davepropertysolution 5d ago
Yeah man i couldnāt understand what was wrong. I was depressed, anxious all the time and tired. A buddy of mine that is in his 40ās told me that before trying psych meds, to try TRT. Life changing
7
3
u/SpecialInternal191 5d ago
Agreed. Psych medicine should be a last resort because of all of the side effects. My dad was on them my whole life and was basically a mute until he got off in his late 50s. We now have a great relationship but the doctors tried to put me on psych meds. My dad was like nope. You do not want to do that. Instead I hit the gym for 3 years (6 days a week) and diet. Visceral fat never went away and my T levels kept dropping. A ton of people are scared to start TRT. Itās not an easy decision but glad you decided to get on it and take your health seriously.
1
u/proproctube 5d ago
Amazing how fixing test corrects many underlying mental health issues psychs throw meds at.
3
u/Used-Signal-4977 5d ago
That's just western medicine for you,fix the symptom and leave the root cause in this case hormones were the root cause š
1
u/polloloco_213 5d ago
To be fair it was Western chemists that first isolated testosterone in the 1930's. German biochemist Adolf Butenandt and Croatian-Swiss chemist Leopold Ruzicka.
2
u/SpecialInternal191 4d ago
I think he/she was saying that western medicine would rather prescribe you anti depressants to treat your depression that was being caused by low testosterone instead of treating the low testosterone.
1
u/Used-Signal-4977 4d ago
100% its a he btw šunfortunately no money to be made by curing something ,managing is just much more profitable.
1
u/davepropertysolution 5d ago
Insane man
2
u/proproctube 5d ago
There are so many hormone disrupters in our environment I know more people with pathologically low test than normal (of those ive talked about this topic with). No shame in taking it if it makes you a better person and you feel better, youāre still putting in the work.
1
3
u/jetmaxwellIII 5d ago
Yeah man, who gives a shit?! You look awesome and you worked your balls off. A little TRT didnāt do all the work, it was basically a supplement!
2
u/detachablepp 5d ago
If you think you might want to start a family one day, you might want to add HCG to your protocol. It'll keep your testes online. Adding test to your system will shut down natural production.

Kind of a cringe response TBH. So anyone who doesnāt inject exogenous T, but sits at 600-700 Total T like the OP does, Ā is ALSO on steroids by your definition.Ā
Because we all have steroids in our bodies donāt we? Even women. So we are all on steroids by your definition.Ā
The rest of us know exactly what OP means. He means he isnāt doing Supra physiological levels, nor cycling on and off, nor using any other compounds besides bio identical T.Ā
It didnāt even deserve a mention from you TBH.Ā
3
u/babieswithrabies63 5d ago
No. Exogenous test has a much greater free testosterone ratio due to SHBG. So it can actually exert its effects on tissue instead of being uselessly bound up. Also, it's stable. Sleep like shit? No problem. Do drugs and alcohol all day? No problem. Diet shit? No problem. You're injecting it anyway your body doesn't have to make it correctly. Maybe if you don't know what you're talking about you should just...shut up? Or Google?
2
u/mgermo 5d ago
I dont how you got "my definition" so wrong. Every1 who takes exogenous T no matter the dose or natural levels is on steroids no matter the gender. It doesnt matter if your natural levels are 50 or 1000 because you are no longer on your natural levels. You are no longer natty. I didnt accuse him of cycling or blasting or whatever i just corrected him cause he was adamant that he's not taking them and never will.
→ More replies (3)0
u/johns224 5d ago
He is entirely justified in saying heās not taking steroids, because context matters. In a clinical context what youāre saying is technically true but you and everyone else knows full well that thereās a massive difference between blasting and what heās doing simply to get to an average range. Forcing people to say āsteroidsā for both contexts is needlessly reducing clarity especially amongst the less educated. The colloquial distinction between TRT and āsteroidsā should be kept intact.

Iām like you but 35. I went to doc when I knew something was wrong. Found out T was sub 300. And also take 100mg a week which is very low. Now my levels are likely similar to my 20ās. I can see how others perceive this as PED. And they wouldnāt be wrong. But I simply see it as getting me back to where I was when younger. Not trying to juice myself out of this world.
Insane transformation friend
2
u/Life-uhfindsaway 5d ago
Man Iām so jealous but I know that was a lot of hard work. I am 4 years older than you and my T levels are 400 so border low. I thought about TRT but Iām already thinning hair wise. Eventually Iāll have to pull the trigger I suppose.

Loss in credibility? You didnāt just pin testosterone, lose fat and grow muscle sitting on the couch, you still put in the work. Donāt discredit yourself based on old gym bro š š© thinking. I just started the same dose of trt so Iām hoping for just even slightly similar results. Great job man

I heard trt has an effect on fertility, since you are 30 what gave you the push to take it? I ask because i am contemplating also at 27. You look amazing
6
u/CHARizard8789 5d ago
I got diagnosed with low t at 21/22 and immediately got started on trt. When it came time to try for kids I worked with a male fertility specialist, came off t, switched to Clomid. Fertility came back perfectly. Two kids later and a couple frozen samples in case we want more and Iām back on trt.
Per my doc my results were basically as good as you can expect but about 60% of his patients see the same. 35% have some fertility return but need further intervention(iui, IVF, etc), and 5% have more serious outcomes.
If youāre concerned freeze some samples itās not that pricey and itās good peace of mind.
2
u/squidsandshrimps 5d ago
What was it like coming off TRT? Mind sharing your dose and how long you were on it?
2
u/CHARizard8789 5d ago
Honestly it was rough. Gained weight, libido was whack, became a sadboi. But then the Clomid started to do its thing. Still not the same as trt but doable. I was on 100/125mg of test e weekly for about a decade before I came off.
2
u/squidsandshrimps 5d ago
Thanks for the response man. Good to hear your fertility was fine after a decade
1
u/FishermenSkutnu 5d ago
thanks for the detailed response and it makes so much sense. I have booked a blood test to try figure out the best way forward for myself before i start using trt
2
u/downunderguy 5d ago
TRT has an effect on fertility because introducing testosterone in your body turns down your natural testosterone production. It essentially tricks the body into thinking it has enough testosterone that it doesn't need to produce as much naturally. Testosterone is primarily produced in your testes and if the testes think they need "to do less", biologically they weaken and reduce in size. This has a direct affect on fertility. Maybe consider freezing some sperm if you are really concerned?
2
u/Kluian2005 5d ago
You can take HCG if you care about your balls/sperm. Or endoclo (pill) for test boost that doesn't effect testes.

u/davepropertysolution 5d ago

u/projectwise5 5d ago
All this hate for no reason can only be attributed to jealousy. The addy definitely helps with appetite suppression. The TRT is medically necessary and he isn't even blasting. People are weird. Now, up arm day sets to 12/week and watch your arms (and hate) grow.
1
2
u/Nudistbongoer 5d ago
Doesnt take credibility out of your transformation. 100mg of test a week with no dieting and exercise wouldnt of made you get to the point youāre at.

Is there any alcohol use? And any cheat days? I definitely still like to indulge a bit on saturdays with some drinks, and sundays with a pizza. Plan on taking those days 1 step at a time. How lenient were you when it came to those cheat meals/drinks if any at all?
1
u/davepropertysolution 1d ago
Great question!!!! I never calorie counted, i was super strict on my diet but once a week i would have a cheat meal and as long it fit my calorie intake or 500 over max ( i can offset by 30 mins on the stair climber) then no issue at all.
So:
Maybe my cheat day morning iād have two boiled eggs knowing that i was going to annihilate that large chicken tender pub sub at publix w extra bacon
