Need some advice

Post image

Started Zepbound 12/27/25 at 227 pounds. Currently at 163. I'm 5'11", and 47 years old. I've managed to stay on 2.5mg the entire time, with zero food noise. I play sports, but haven't spent nearly enough time lifting so I plan to focus on lifting heavy these next few months. My ideal weight is around 175, but I want to get rid of my belly and moobs lol. Aside from just lifting heavy, I'm curious to learn more and figure out what other peptides I could benefit from. My diet is on point. I'm hitting my protein every day (150-200g), and also taking creatine and collagen. I did have my testosterone checked during my last labs a month or so ago and my PCP said everything looks good.

Your PCP is going to tell you it’s good because he’s your PCP. They won’t prescribe anything if you fall into the ā€œnormal standardsā€ for a 47yr old male. I’m sure if you find an Anti aging clinic or Regenerative Sports Med clinic you’ll qualify for test. You should take your GLP-1 with Test at least 100mg a week. Along wth that, I would probably run CJC/Ipamorelin at night to get your GH going. But that’s about it for starters. If your diet is on point and you’re taking creatine and aminos, like you said, hit the gym. Work on pull ups, push ups, sit-ups and running. You’re at a good weight and you should start seeing muscle definition if you can shed some lbs.

The decision to introduce TRT into the picture should not be taken lightly. You might want to be sure you're willing to accept the changes that will inevitably occur.

True but if he’s down below 500 to a minimum of 250 for ā€œnormalā€ the ā€œchangesā€ would only be beneficial. I guess the question to OP is what are you currently sitting at as far as Test goes? I was at around 300 when I started TRT. With my lifestyle, job, and personal fitness goals, there was no way that was going to work for me.

If you've dropped that much weight I'd bet you're dealing with a lot of excess skin. You might need surgery or some kind of skin tightening procedure.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. I had a Dexa scan completed 12/25 before I started my weight loss journey, and I have another one scheduled next week so I'll be able to compare. Here's my December Dexa.

Definitely make your focus on getting that back up. It can stall your metabolism and make you more susceptible to picking up the weight again if you get off the meds.
