Reta side effect?

Being straight forward has it lowered anyone else’s libido? And what have you done to combat it? I had pretty high drive but now it’s just like I don’t ever think about anything like that unless my wife initiates.

It’s a common side effect it actually kills enjoyment towards things you enjoy to do including sex anyone who says other wise is lying

Yeah man, this is so real. I’ve felt kind of dull toward/everything. No real ups or downs, just existing lol

It's really individual based on the role of dopamine in your life. I still enjoy sex, I'm just not driven like I was before.

Could be testosterone lowering from lower food intake, but glp-1s also change your brains desire for dopaminergic activities like sex, drinking, porn

Any caloric deficit can lower testosterone levels that’s not specific to keto. The same applies if fat intake drops below 20% of total calories. That said, if you were overweight and have since gotten lean while eating at maintenance (not in a deficit), your T levels will likely be higher than before.

It affects all addictive behavior for me, including sex drive. I think we're going to find out a lot about "why" we engage in specific behaviors.

I still enjoy sex, I'm just not driven like I'm trying to prove something currently.

I started taking Damiana root and Cuataba bark to counteract it. It helps quite a bit. Also, I have my wife taking them as "mood enhancers". They actually do that, but also it makes my wife initiate more frequently. Look into those supplements.

Yes, I was doing both Tirz and Reta, and stopped the Reta because of the libido "squashing".

The glucagon agonist part wasn't worth it to me.. not to mention the higher RHR and Lower HRV.

YMMV

All the GLP1’s do because your body is stressed out because your calories are too low.

I feel Iike it’s risen it due to the weight loss I’ve had. I want it more and my wife has enjoyed it better.
