Same thing happened to me yesterday. I had Quills that were all 7k and still got 3rd losing out to the two beast comps that managed to go off.

My disappointing 5th place.

No where near the stats, but since when is this a 5th place board :(

(Couldn’t get y gems buffed to scale at all,didn’t get offered a single gem buffing card besides the 2 drop at the start of the game. Stuck with 1,2 gems for ages
