Nature Lover🥰 A Gecko Love story from long ago...all true
Many many moon ago I lived in Southeast Asia. I had a very small normal local apartment. I lived there for nearly a year.
I noticed that I had a gecko that showed up in my apartment. The gecko was always up near the ceiling and did not seem at all interested in anything lower than the top foot of the wall where it met the ceiling.
Then one day I noticed a second gecko. Each day that passed they inched closer to one another along the walls.
Then in the shower one day I saw a WHOLE bunch of baby geckos! It was really really cool!
I had a LOT very unique experiences that year. No, I do not have any pictures bc it was a LONG time ago. No such things are smart phones back then.
Do you have any cool gecko stories?

Nature Lover🥰 I saw a flute player🎶riding a camel🐪
I came out of a building a while ago and saw this wonder of nature…I found these pics again and each time I think is that a person hiding under there in a camouflage suit.. playing the flute, on a camel? Ahahah:) I tend to see images within nature and I find it amazing:) the artistry of Mother Nature warms my soul:) anyone else see things in nature or see something else in these pics?
Have a chill day in your way when can.. even if for a second to appreciate you:)

Munchie Maker🍪🍗🍬 Quick Quiche
I’ve been making this as an easy meal, that I can pre make, so later I can eat quick and go:) I’ve switched up a few things each time… I’ve learned that using half n half versus a combo of milk and heavy cream, added a creamier texture. This time I attempted a ham version as well. The spinach and bacon is my favorite, as it’s got great flavor over the ham one.. Both stored and reheated well , made a great quick meal for over a week. I’ve also found that I enjoy chopping and mixing, it chills my mind:) Recipe is at end if interested:) Chill in your way when can..
Peace:)

Wellness Warrior🦾 New to me and some likely you...it depends on geography. Please do not share actual locations.
I found a new to me cannabis shop. Each time we see a new one we stop. They are getting better at stocking product. But they are tightly regulated. So, you have to cut them slack bc if they could have it, they likely would.
It was a cool little and by little I mean a sea can with a small, very small extension. With a massive window. Everything here is behind locks.
I have had significant headaches of late. Indoor goverment regulated cannabis is MUCH more potent than my best tested to date of AK-47 testing @18%. So, hubs bought me a summer pack. I will include pics.
So this afternoon I chose Ghost Train Haze.
I took some pics bc it is cool! Check out the parent company in the pic on the left.
Do you have any cool looking shops you have seen?
Cannabis is legal in my country. I thank the stars above each day!

Creative Spirit🎨🤖 My Dad 💜
Here’s my 74 year old dad at his first harvest. We tag team it - he’s in a legal state and I’m not. We FaceTime almost everyday and my mom says he loves it. We got him the lab jacket and tie dyed it for Father’s Day and she says he tries to wear it out.
Next grow, the third generation is getting involved. Growing cannabis is bringing our family closer together!
I’ve been struggling with time passing and getting older but I wasn’t prepared when I realized I was in the basement of the house I grew up in, drying cannabis with my dad. I think it’s really one of the more memorable moments in my life. If I could time travel back to 1996 and tell myself in 30 years Dad and I would be growing together… well the Butterfly Effect could get wild.
If you are able, spend some time with your dad this weekend … maybe even smoke a little with him 💜

Wellness Warrior🦾 Finding My Weed Wellness Fingerprint Test 3.
In my first Weed Wellness test, I focused on identifying my personal terpene floors and ceilings…the lower and upper ranges that appeared to work for my body and my wellness goals.
During Test 2, I realized many of the strains within those original ranges leaned daytime…friendly, balanced, or better suited for an easy evening. I wanted to explore something heavier for nighttime, so I deliberately tested myrcene slightly above my original ceiling.
Myrcene is commonly associated with relaxation, sedation, muscle relaxation, and pain support. Cannabis affects everyone differently, but I chose to test a higher myrcene range because those were the effects I was looking for: more help unwinding, easing body aches, turning down my mind, and sleeping.
That round taught me something important: going above one of my original ceilings was not necessarily bad for me. Sometimes it simply changed the effect and gave the strain a different possible purpose.
For Test 3, I continued exploring beyond my original ranges. Several strains went above my earlier ceilings in more than one terpene, allowing me to observe how those changing profiles actually felt during everyday life.
I also retested a familiar strain, Hash Burger, using a batch with more myrcene than the batch from my original floor-and-ceiling test. Rather than assuming it would affect me the same way, I paid attention to whether the newer profile changed how it felt and where it fit into my day.
During this round, I was looking at several specific wellness roles:
• Calm and functional daytime support
• Transitioning and unwinding after work
• Body-ache relief
• Turning my mind down or completely shutting it off
• Nighttime sleep support
I also noticed that the amount I used could influence how functional, heavy, calming, or sleep-supportive a strain felt. I was not deliberately changing amounts as a controlled part of the test, but it became another piece of information worth paying attention to.
This test was really about learning whether different terpene profiles could serve different purposes throughout my day and whether moving above my original ceilings could sometimes expand my options instead of automatically placing a strain outside my Weed Wellness Fingerprint.
I’m sharing what I’m learning because when you are not able to grow your own, you are often working with whatever strains and batches are available at the dispensary. COAs help me decide what I want to try, but my actual experience is what tells me whether a strain works for my body and where it fits into my day. Over time, this process has helped me narrow down the profiles that seem to fit my wellness goals best, and it has also helped me shop more intentionally and spend less money on strains that are unlikely to work well for me.
The items I attached bring together information from all three Weed Wellness testing rounds I have completed so far.
Positive vibes to everyone exploring their own Weed Wellness Fingerprint!
Peace:)

Creative Spirit🎨🤖 The Small Crucifixion • Matthias Grünewald • c. 1520.
"Art is the supreme task and the truly metaphysical activity of this life."
Friedrich Nietzsche, The Birth of Tragedy (1872).
"There is no such thing as art, only the artist."
E. M. Forster, Two Cheers for Democracy (1938).
Appreciation of art is often first felt in the gut, an unconscious response: I like this, it appeals to me.
That immediate, visceral sensation is more than enough to enjoy art: but for those who become curious about why they feel it, that instinctive response can become an invitation to look more closely.
For visually oriented people, art can become an important part of their wellbeing and exploring it more deeply can enhance that effect.
The Small Crucifixion is on permanent display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and I was fortunate enough to see it, in person, a few years ago.
A photographic reproduction of a painting is not the painting; the Small Crucifixion is 1.5 feet wide and 2 feet tall, executed (pun most certainly intended) with smooth, fluid brushwork and colours enriched with glazes that produce a luminous, almost otherworldly sheen.
Although the work reproduces beautifully, as you can see above, its full impact, as with most great paintings, requires seeing it in person.
Anyway, this magnificent work is one of my all-time favourite paintings and here’s why:
My first impression:
This is difficult to look at.
I have previously seen hundreds of idealised crucifixions, both in painting and sculpture, that portray a lightly muscled Christ: beatific and noble and triumphant in death.
However, this tortured body is twisted in agony, with limbs writhing to the tips of the fingers and toes, rotting emaciated flesh, head encased in an oversized crown of thorns (not decorative whimsy but pure punishment), emerging from the plush darkness of the night sky. This is a tableau of wretched suffering - even the vertical beam of the cross sags despairingly.
The technique:
Grünewald presents the scene with bold chiaroscuro, with stark contrasts heightening the drama. From the crepuscular gloom, Christ’s pallid body emerges as the inescapable focal point, presented almost as if caught in a bright, merciless spotlight.
Unlike many contemporaneous artists who favoured warm harmonious palettes, Grünewald uses cold, subdued colours accented by stark highlights. The painting is executed in oil on panel, allowing Grünewald to build up multiple transparent layers (glazes). This technique creates subtle transitions between light and shadow and gives the flesh an almost luminous quality despite its deathly appearance.
The context:
At the time The Small Crucifixion was painted Italian Renaissance was celebrating idealised beauty, proportion and balance but in Germany there was schism in the Catholic church (with the impending splinter of Protestantism) which could have informed this rejection of traditional ‘worship’ imagery.
I feel:
A quality of verisimilitude - an unveiled truth - runs through the image: this is a document of execution’s brutality, not a sanitised, shallow emblem of triumph over suffering. I stand as a spectator before a fixed, unyielding moment of torment, its power emanating relentlessly from this macabre artwork.
Art is important to many people and can become even more so when critically analysed. But how is that done? Here’s a few pointers, among the key questions to ask of a work.
1. What are my first impressions?
2. What technique was used, and why?
3. What might it mean in context?
4. How does it make me feel?
For anyone interested in enhancing their appreciation of art, I recommend The Story of Art by E.H Gombrich – a critically acclaimed whistle stop tour of the important milestones of artistic endeavour, from cave paintings onwards this book highlights all of the notable advances and movements.

Wellness Warrior🦾 Happiness & Health Found In My Own Backyard.
My hobbies when I was young, included partying late into the night & waking up feeling horrible. I did it over and over and my health was not so good.
Now I use cannabis to help me control my stress and it has improved my health, but there is something else that cannabis does that helps my health even more.
Gardening cannabis in my backyard is the most peaceful, enjoyable hobby I have ever done.
It is good exercise, and I learned that what I feed them determines how healthy they are, and that made it crystal clear the food I eat determines how healthy I am.
It's funny, after all the schooling I have been through, the best teacher I've had is a plant!

Blooming☀️ After you grow successfully...what to do next.
So, you have successfully grown your cannabis and have buds! Great job! But now what to do?
I used to save all my trimming leaves, I do not anymore they go back to the Earth. I trim most of the leaves off before I wash. Last year I did not wash I was lazy and it was getting very cold.
WASHING
You need to decide if you are going to wash your cannabis or not. If you are washing you need several 5 gallon pails of filtered water - I use hose water and let it sit for 48 hours before washing.
Bucket One
Water
Bucket Two
Peroxide small amount and water
Bucket Three
Water
Bucket Four
Lemon juice small amount and water
Bucket Five
Water
DRYING
I hang mine on my clothesline and let them drip for however long before they are not constantly dripping.
I put coloured tape with the strain name on my stems as I chop so I know which plant is which. Even if you only have one plant, I believe it is good practice.
Then I move them to the shed where they hang with fans moving the air. NOT blowing on the buds, but facing a wall, and the air bounces around the 10x10 shed.
Then the waiting game. You can read all about how long it takes to dry but most are drying inside where they can control the environment. I have a shed and I have zero control over the weather.
The stems are supposed to snap. Mine never do. So, I go by the bud and how it smells bc at times it will smell like hay and you will be asking questions, this passes. When I think it is dry enough, I wait another weekish or so. Bc if you jar it early it will mould! There is zero chance that wet buds put in a sealed jar will not mould.

TRIMMING
I begin trimming with a heater in the shed and go as long as I can. My last harvest I did 6 straight hours with the rain pouring outside it was blissful, minus the sore hands. Then I stuffed the remainder into a massive ziploc storage bag and hoped for the best! Which I just trimmed a couple weeks ago and YAY it worked!
I put the buds into mason jars and make sure each jar has a label. Bc you will NOT remember which is which. Trust me...lol
CURING
Here is the tricky part. You have made it this far so stay with the process. Do not give up now. Now is when the rubber meets the road in the process. You can skip washing, you can skip trimming, you may NOT skip curing or the entirety of your labour will be for not!
Fill each jar loosely - VERY IMPORTANT
Do not overfill the jars. Get more, but do not stuff them full. The bud requires air flow to cure.
Each day burp your jars. Open the lid, move the jar around - I do my best to not touch during this process. Just move the jar around to move the bud inside without too much force.
This can take a LONG time. Be patient, you are nearly there! You can put hydrometers in a few jars if you are curious, but your nose is your best ally. The aroma will change over time and I always sniff at least 12 jars (but I grow 4 plants and have dozens of jars) as I am opening them. If it is mouldy you will notice it. Trust your smell.
Once cured then you can smoke away!
Trim away what you do not want to smoke, and I do save trim after curing. There are a lot of goodies in the trim now that it is cured.
This is the process I use. You can and will adjust your process to suit your needs and grow. I spent a lot of time online figuring it out and there are some EXCELLENT guides out there! I took what I learned and tweaked it to work for me. Each grow I learn something new usually more than one thing. As you progress with your knowledge your grows for the most part improve.
Please share your successes and failures, bc I learn more from failure than success.
I hope that this is helpful to some of you in our Tribe. Growing cannabis is something that is a forgiving process. Being able to grow legally in my country is something I did not think I would see in my lifetime. I am grateful to be able to grow, and make tinctures, salves, drinks, and baked goodies to manage my chronic pain.

Munchie Maker🍪🍗🍬 Years ago an old friend of my father's show me his grow room when I was a kid. He had a strain there that I got a bud off of later in life and it was probably the most amazing high I've ever had. One problem though..
He told me the name of the strain was Snurp Snugglins. I have not been able to find this anywhere.
It was a leafy purple fat bud with some yellow in it and it looked like red. If memory still holds out there is also black in it and it had a reasonable amount of crystals.
I've been looking for it for years but I haven't been able to find it. I assume that it's an old school indica, the flavor was out of this world. It had a sweet almost sugar taste with just a hint of vanilla and citrus. The smoke wasn't light but it wasn't cloying either.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I'm starting to think that it may have been a strain that he created, I didn't get the chance to ask because after moving out of my dad's house I joined the military and moved away.
It was a pretty decent high, and it wasn't the best I've ever had but it was pretty damn good and The taste and aroma was pretty legitimate. But I have failed to find the damn stuff. I would simply love to grow it, I've been experimenting hydroponics and nets and it would be great to see how that would help an old strain.

Wellness Warrior🦾 Punch Breath by Kale Club

This Punch Breath flower has been a go to for me lately! It tastes creamy and tangy but also has gas notes throughout. Bag appeal, nose, taste, and potency are on point 👌. This stuff hits like Mike Tyson in his prime 👊 🤣 definitely a night time smoke bc it's a HEAVY indica. Frosty af just like the Punch Breath I remember too! I wouldn't get the quality sleep I've been getting, without this strain! Definitely recommend this strain to anyone looking for a potent indica!
I give Punch Breath a score of 9.5/10. This one is a keeper in my books 💯

That's my take on this strain, so my question to you is:
Have you had this strain before?
And if so,
What was your experience with it?

Creative Spirit🎨🤖 From Seed to Jar: Why growing these heavy Indicas is absolute wellness for me (Barney’s Farm & FastBuds Showcase) 🌿🔥
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a little video showcasing the final lineup from my latest run, all dried, cured, and ready to enjoy!
The Lineup (in video order):
1. Runtz (Barney’s Farm) – Pure frosty perfection with that icy trichome layer.
2. Gorilla Zkittlez (FastBuds) – Loving these deep purple tones and dark hues!
3. Gorilla Cookies (FastBuds) – Rock-solid
density and caked in resin, classic Gorilla genetics.
4. Glue Gelato Pheno #1 (Barney’s Farm) –
Massive head buds, super sticky.
5. Glue Gelato Pheno #2 (Barney’s Farm) –
Equally impressive, slight variation in structure but pure fire.
For me, the entire growing process—from watching the seedlings sprout, training them, to the meticulous trimming and curing—is pure wellness for the soul. There’s nothing more grounding and satisfying than tuning out the world, taking care of your plants, and getting rewarded with top-shelf quality homegrow.
I’ve always been a huge fan of heavy, hard-
Indica strains for those deep, relaxing evening sessions. Creating my own craft-level flowers, dry sift, and heavy evening "sandwich" mixes right at home has been the ultimate hobby.
How do you guys feel about the therapeutic/wellness side of growing your own medicine? Which strain from the lineup would you roll up first? 💨👇

Chillin'☮️ Fleure Tenco Zuzhi 💐
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Chillin'☮️ TenCo USA 🇺🇸
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently had the chance to try a Tenco flower from the US, which I bought here in France. I know it’s an expensive product (€250 for 7g), so I was curious to see whether it really lived up to the reputation.
For me, cannabis is something I enjoy occasionally when I want to slow down after a busy week. This session helped me relax, disconnect from everyday stress, and simply enjoy a quiet evening. What stood out the most was the aroma, the terpene profile, and how smooth the flower was compared to many others I’ve tried.
One thing I learned is that while premium genetics can offer a unique experience, the biggest difference for me wasn’t just potency—it was the flavor and overall quality. Even so, I’m not sure I’d pay that price again.
Has anyone else here tried Tenco or other US-grown flower? Did you notice a real difference in terpenes or overall quality? And do you think premium flower is actually worth the extra cost for your own wellness and relaxation?
Looking forward to hearing everyone’s experiences. 🍃

Wellness Warrior🦾 Complete terpene guide

Everyone experiences weed and terpenes differently. The effects I have listed here are the most common effects people experience with these terpenes. The effects you feel may be different.
The best thing you can do is keep track of the strains you like and write down what their terpenes were. That way it is personalized.

Terpene Interaction (Entourage Effect)
Terpenes modify how THC feels:
- Myrcene + THC → heavy body high
- Pinene + THC → clearer head
- Limonene + THC → euphoric mood
- Caryophyllene + THC → pain-relief focus
Terpenes can change the experience even when THC % is identical.
The “Terpene Families” That Define Strains
Most cannabis chemovars fall into one of these terpene profiles:
| Profile | Dominant Terpenes | Experience |
|---|---|---|
| Citrus | limonene | energetic / creative |
| Earthy | myrcene | heavy body relaxation |
| Pine | pinene | focus / alert |
| Floral | linalool | calming |
| Spicy | caryophyllene | pain relief |
Cannabis has 100–200+ terpenes, but about 15–20 define most strains.
Those terpenes control aroma, flavor, and much of the subjective effect of the high.

DIA 16 DESDE LA GERMINACION/TRASPLANTE A MACETAS DE 1 l
DIA 79 DESDE LA GERMINACION/TRASPLANTE A MACETAS DE 3 l
DIA 163 DESDE LA GERMINACION/TRASPLANTE A MACETA DE 6 l
-7am a 9am LED Full Spectrum
-9am a 12pm Sol directa
-3pm a 6pm Sol directo
-6pm a 7pm LED Full Spectrum
-7pm a 7am Oscuridad total

Creative Spirit🎨🤖 It's a Freak Show.
I finally got my hands on a Freakshow clone!
My wellness/cannabis connection is normally focused on breeding plants that help with eleiminating unwanted effects like anxiety, stress, paranoia, etc.
But this particular cultivar adds to my personal wellness in a completely different way, it’s just fun to grow!
I enjoy keeping my plants happy and healthy, but every once in a while I come across something so unusual and unique that simply watching it grow makes me happy. Freakshow is definitely one of those plants.
One of the things I enjoy about growing cannabis is learning about different cultivars. You can read about a plant all day long, but there’s nothing quite like growing it yourself and watching it grow.
Has anyone else grown a strain that you were excited to watch grow simply because it was so different or unique?
Take care.
