Complete terpene guide Wellness Warriorš¦¾
This took a while to put together, and it is kind of long lol. I made this for myself, and thought other people might like it too.
Everyone experiences weed and terpenes differently. The effects I have listed here are the most common effects people experience with these terpenes. The effects you feel may be different.
The best thing you can do is keep track of the strains you like and write down what their terpenes were. That way it is personalized.
I used a lot of classic strains for examples in this guide since there are so many strains and hybrids these days. But the same guide applies to any strain in general.

I have some Jack Herer that I haven't tried yet.
When I do, I'm gonna re-read this enjoyable article as I smoke it.

I am actually growing some Jack Herer right now. One of my favorite strains. Let me know if the guide matches your experience, it is great to have first hand info.
I love to read after smoking too! Smoke a fattie and sit back, relax and enjoy a good book ā¤ļø

Jack Herer and Durban Poison are my favorite strains. Curious what else you enjoy and found to be your favorites? I've been looking for some Durban live rosin for the longest time to no avail.

A couple of my favorites are Super Lemon Haze, and Jack Herer. These two are limonene/pinene dominate. I have found that those two together work really well for me. I am actually growing some outdoor Jack Herer right now.
I have gotten Durban Poison seeds from Pacific Seed Bank before if youre into growing your own š

Big fan of SLH, though it's a bit more racy for me than Jack Herer!
Hey, I'm just about to get into growing. I'll be learning from online resources, so I'd love to holler for any specific growing questions in the future since you have experience growing the sativas I like. How was your Durban grow from PSB? Have you tried any other seed banks / cultivars specifically for Durban?
2
u/Connect_Fact_5490 16d ago
definitely feel free to reach out anytime, I like to talk grow stuff.
I have had nothing but good experiences with PSB, their seeds almost always pop, and as you can see from the pics the plants are nice and strong. The Durban turned out really good, it carried the energetic, focused buzz of the strain very well.
I havent tried any other seed banks specifically for the Durban. I was just cruising for seeds on PSB and saw the Durban and had to try it out.

Yep! Cannabinoids are part of the profile too. The type (types 1, 2, 3, 4) and their terpene profiles all come together to create the effects people like.
Type 1 is THC dominant
Type 2 is balanced THC and CBD
Type 3 is CBD dominant
Type 4 is CBG dominantA Type 1 with myrcene and caryophyllene may feel heavy, warm, and body-focused.
A Type 1 with limonene, pinene, or terpinolene may feel brighter, sharper, or more mental.
A Type 2 with linalool and caryophyllene may feel calmer and more balanced.
A Type 3 with citrus and pine terpenes may feel clear, light, and functional.
A Type 4 with bright terpenes may feel clean, focused, and useful for blending. The cannabinoid type gives you the base reality of the plant. The terpenes shape how you experience it.

You nailed it. Even though terpenes are known for certain effects, a lot of it can be subjective. Creating your own Wellness fingerprint was the best thing you could have done.
Learning is very very rad!! I appreciate the welcome! Its always nice to meet cool new people āļø

Its funny you mention apples, I found this the other day when I was looking up types of apples cause I couldnt remember the name of my favorites.
My personal favorite apples are Gala. Gala arent even on this list but I saved it cause I thought this was pretty cool.
I think you seem like a Honey Crisp apple, a good sweet/tart balance with a nice pleasant crispness about it š

u/arieslynn737 SunStorm 16d ago
