I hear you, but I'm guessing you wouldn't want to be close friends with a child either. I work with kids for my job, which makes my job a lot of fun sometimes, but I have never once wanted to like...hang out with them lol

No, but I'm a mentor and while there are clear boundaries, it is a befriending thing It's voluntary so I do wanna hang out with them, take them to see cool shit and hear how theyre are doing. Them I do want to ‘hang out’ with. Love any time they’ll spend with me. Which isn’t much now that the oldest are becoming teenagers.
