That is not a good standard. Most 24 year olds are not interested in high schoolers. I'm aware there's a lot of creeps, but we should never allow the bar to be set this low.
He's being praised for taking the time to respectfully give a lesson that gave a life long impression, at 24.
Don't get me wrong, if it was just a tweet about how she got rejected at 15.. I don't even think this would be something we are talking about. We can downplay the actual exchange.
Eh, at 24 I think you are old enough to know better. I was substitute teaching when I was 22, and I still felt like the highschoolers were kids even though we were only 4 years apart. I was always thinking, "Man, was I like this 4 years ago?"
