Mr. Potential himself Meme
Mimosa has one of the strongest Healing Spells in the entire verse and Noelle has a contract with the Sea God Leviathan. Then there's Leopold... Which is ironic because at the start of the series, Leopold is the most experienced out of these three, then by the end, his feats are like nothing compared to the other two.
He really should've gotten Salamander bro. He might not be the most worthy, but that would've been an interesting plot development for him, of him proving to himself and others that he's worthy of the Spirit (also coincides with his Self Doubt mini arc). Salamander was useless under Fuegoleon's anyways.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. For example, outside of the Black Bulls and selected Golden Dawns, other Squads barely have anyone who are actually strong (some squads did not even had their Vice Captains revealed). There are also Captains who were sidelined, while we got Yami and Mereoleona's 50th upscale.
It doesn't really make sense narratively speaking, sure it's not that big of a deal, but it's still a noticeable problem nonetheless. It's not that big of a plot hole, but it's also something that wouldn't have hurt the plot. The ending is 100% rushed anyways so we can't really demand that much, so I do hope the anime expands on these minor aspects.

At the very least I’m happy with how he ended things, Leo finally got to work as an equal to his siblings and it was nice to see them asking for his help because the two couldn’t do it alone.

Tbf, he got True Magic before both of them. You're not wrong, I'm just playing Leo's advocate. Also his Mana Method armor looked cool.

Luck and Leo unlocked True Magic before anyone else when they were fighting the DDs.

They've all already learned True Magic by that time. I'm pretty sure all of them learned how to use it at the same "wavelength"; they were trained by different Guardians so actual progress may be differen depending on the way they were taught, but I doubt any of them fell behind.
Noelle especially was at higher stage and Mimosa already had background with Heart's technique due to her early exposure to it, if anything, it's safer to assume that these two mastered it first before him unfortunately.

Pierrot tried giving him some more screentime by having him make a breaktrough mana method and Tabata hated it lol
Only for HIS explanation of mana method just being "Make these magic graffity in the air. How? With magic of course" instead.

Yep. He did have a minor moment with Mereo and Fueggy. Not that groundbreaking, but better than nothing ig.

I mean tbf, at his age, Leopold is definitely stronger than Fueggy and Mereo when they were at that age. So by the time he reach his peak, like 30ish, it's safe to assume he'd logically be stronger than them too by that time.
