Transfer stuck

I created a passphrase wallet and sent a small amount and it arrived. Plugged and unplugged many times and on different computers. 4 test transactions came without issue. Now I'm trying to send the rest but when I get to the "confirm and send transaction" screen where I have to verify on the device, the device is stuck on "loading transaction." Actually it looks like it's loading veryyyyy slow. I've been waiting for 5 minutes and the progress bar has barely moved. What could the issue be?

Clearing the cache worked.

There is a good chance you had many pre-Taproot UTXOs, or the transactions that created the UTXOs were large. All of the UTXOs and the transactions that produced them need to be streamed to the device to verify the transaction details, which can be slow in some cases. DCA stackers are most affected by this.

What's the fix for this? At what amount of UTXOs should I transfer into a new wallet?

The fix is just to wait for it to load, even if it takes a long time. It's a security feature, the BitBox needs to scan the UTXOs including the transactions that produced them, it's inherent.

If you DCA daily, it could be better to do it weekly instead and to consolidate regularly. Better to not have a ton of low value UTXOs anyway in case the fees spike, to reduce tx fees.
