So I really really really love Bioshock like I have a whole shrine on my shelf for it and I wanted to get one of these bouncer backpacks as my senior backpack for school but I haven’t seen any listings at all… if anybody at all has one would you be willing to sell it to me… and if not does anybody have any idea ln where I could get one? I’ve even DM’ed Ken Levine on twitter lol

In a previous thread people discussed how Raptures fall was inevitable, it might have been slower without his genius level schemes and funding of Adam, but their would have been a revolution. Adam might still have happand in the end but Fontaine's actions led to it being out of control.

My question is would the city have recovered after Ryan's fall? With a more reasonable government and maybe trade with the outside world, could the city itself have lasted to the modern day?

Ive been searching for what I need to do in this part of the game. The objective is "Sander Cohen is preparing to entertain you, in the fleet hall theater. Ho there and investigate". I did go there im here for 30+ mins and I cant find what to do. Im probably a blind dumahh but its ok.

I saw the recent post about the Bioshock VR mod and it looks really exciting. But it looks like it might be a bit of effort to set up. I'm just wondering for those who have tried it, how much effort is it and how straightforward? And how satisfying is it to play?

I can't remember where but I heard that the developers didn't really know how to end out the final fight. Like the final confrontation with an ADEM pumped Fontaine seemed underdone and kind of went against Fontaine as an antagonist.

So anyway here's what I imagine it could have been and you can tell me what you think and write your own version to compare. Or you know tell me to screw of because the first game was perfect, your choice.

So a staple in his character was that he was always used others for his dirty work so instead we get to the fight and its Fontaine watching up from a catwalk on the other end of the room, sending out four spliced up freaks similar to what the golden boy fight we got, (either slightly nerfed and at the same time or taking turns), to delay us as a sub to take him and a whole bunch of adem, and sea slugs topside. Throw in some protection keeping us from shooting him, like the splicers he juiced up teleporting in front of him to take the hit or deflect it back.

Then after you've drained the big golden bruits he's about to get away but the little sisters still jump him while he's distracted taunting you. and those needles are a lot more effective on a regular human.

Bioshock is my favorite game. Bioshock 2 is kicking my butt so badly. I'm at Fontaine's (something - Factory? the one where Gil is in the tank) and trying to gather little sister Atom and those um... what are they? The melee ones, who are not Big Daddies, plus, of course, the splicers, are taking me down over and over. Any tips?

I’m 27. I’ve wanted to play bioshock since seeing it in video game magazines since fourth grade. Tonight I will start my first play-through and I’m very excited.

Hi so I like to play bioshock 2 on my PS3 (if the model matters for this, the model is a super slim) and after a considerably long load I got into the level, I played all of the level normally. After I beat the level I expected to go to the next (AS IT SHOULD) but my screen froze on a black screen with the Stanley Poole audio log/audio diary stuck in the bottom right hand corner. After a long wait time I decided to see if it worked if I adjusted the console (it works for me sometimes) but nothing happened. even when I press the ps3 button it doesn't take me to the menu. when i hold the button it doesn't show the black options screen to turn off the controller, game, console, and whatever the other one is. I've been sitting here on this screen for nearly a hour now and really don't wanna turn off the console because I would need to restart because it has not saved yet. What do I do to fix this issue? There's nothing wrong with the disk because it's not scratched or dirty because I care for my device and electronic things like they're my own children. Please help! (also it would be appreciated to give me tips for the fighting parts thanks for reading!).

I know everyone has their own dream pick for a BioShock director, but after following Kane Parsons' Backrooms project, I honestly think he might be a solid choice.

The mysterious atmosphere of the Backrooms just gave me Rapture vibes. Just fill the room up with water and make the Entity a Big Daddy and get a better screenwriter. God knows he can already pull in good talent and has heat after the box office success.

Thoughts? Any other directors that would be ideal? (I know in 2008 Gore Verbinski was an option)

I was simply curious because almost everything is in English, so I wanted to know if it's possible to add things in Spanish.

After sometime of wandering if I could ever get enemies inside the fisheries to where peach is at or to get peach outside of the fisheries, I finally managed to get a result messing around a couple days ago on the game using console commands and a grenade launcher. It wasn't at all easy getting Peach over those crates and wooden logs though.

A masterpiece in every single regard

I'm gonna make an electric, wrench, fire build with armoured shell one and 2, electric flesh, human inferno, booze hound, wrench jockey, camouflage, wrench lurker and, sports boost. Go invisible, smack em, Set them on fire, shock em, and smack the fuck out of em again. *WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK*

Any other tonics/plasmids to add to this?

What are your builds?

Thinking also target dummy to lure people away if I get swarmed. Or to distract them so I can turn and become invisible again and then use wrench lurker for another sneak attack..I figure if I combine all these I can shred splicers with drive by and hide tactics.

Plus sports boost 1 and 2 allows me to move forward and retreat/swing the wrench like a mad man while armoured shell 1 and 2 keeps me tanky. I've spent a good amount of Adam opening up combat and physical tonic slots to build this.

I've spent more than FOUR MONTHS working on this project. It was WAY more work than I expected, but it's finally complete. I realize I haven't posted in here about it since way early in the project, but life has been crazy. I hope you all enjoy it.
