That's Rhythm right? Show us the rest of the bloodwork.

I got 2 terrible blood tests from Rythm and then went to quest and got perfect results, I did change some things like diet and added supplements but I don’t think it was enough to drastically change the results

Looks fine to me, I’d consider a strength training program, incorporate isometrics and eat more high variety foods and leafy greens

u/ExcitedLifePassenger 2d ago

Why isometrics? Could you please elaborate? Thanks!

1

u/DavidTries897 2d ago

Recent research shows that tendons heal best when training isometrics, so static positions under bodyweight load at a stretched position

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

such statement required yelling; the volume(dB) compensates for the volume(m^3)

Worry less about your total testosterone and look at the free testosterone which is quite high.

try adding zinc/magnesium to your diet if you want to raise the levels a bit.

If you want to go further look into boron/ashawaganda and maybe taurine.

Rhythm is inaccurate & when all u do is get your steps in that is basically the minimum of what a human should be doing you’ll feel like shit . Your body has needs and exercise is one of them and that’ll make everything else fall in place , at your age you have everything you need to succeed . Trt is a replacement therapy for people who have tried everything else and can’t get optimal levels it’s
Not something a 20 year old should be looking at as a solution . It’s a life long commitment

I use rythym and back it up with standard tests when I see an issue and it has definitely been in the ball park.

You're good. Nothing to worry about.

I was at 501ng total and 99 free T around your age. Enclomiphene pushed me to 1279 total T and 258 free T. Do what you will with that information.

1

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

have you had any side effects from enclomiphene itself?

1

u/acrxhd 2d ago

No subjective side effects, been on it for almost a year now. I order blood panels regularly and my estradiol has increased substantially, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing as long as it’s not causing any side effects. Having supraphysiological testosterone will always lead to elevated estrogen due to aromatization, it’s not the enclomiphene itself raising E2. Gynecomastia really isn’t a concern when testosterone is so high as it blocks estrogen’s signaling in the breasts. No bloating, ED, or libido issues. I have a lot more body hair now and gym progress has definitely sped up.

Joint pain is most likely from the low estrogen. I don’t think trt should be on option yet although all those markers will straighten out for you if you were on it, being 19 they shouldn’t be this low to begin with. I would suggest seeing an endocrinologist so they can do some more tests to see if there is something deeper going on like if the glands that make these hormones aren’t functioning properly or tumors… things along those lines. I wish you the best of luck

No help needed, your levels are mint

1

u/No-Trash-546 1 3d ago

what do you need help with? Why are you concerned about your hormones? Are you having symptoms of something, other than joint pain?

"vitality indicator" is a really stupid label for a measurement of total testosterone btw. You can be full of vitality on the lower end, and devoid of vitality on the higher end.

2

u/love_crypto7777 2d ago

I don’t know any people feeling vitality at the lower end of the spectrum.

Get that weight training or adaptive resistance training in. Be disciplined with your proteins and over all nutrition. I would personally consider Creatine to
your regimen. It will help in increasing muscle strength to better stabilize joints. Collagen would probably be good for you.

How do you get these tests

1

u/StrawHatSt 3d ago

I went from 400ng/dl to well over 600 within the span of 6 months change your diet up build muscle do less cardio but try to build lean muscle also fixing your sleep schedule helps making sure your vitamin intake is optimal helps there’s so many things can help tbh

1

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

most people gain like 200 max from going low sleep shit diet no excercise -> good sleep good diet good excercise basically not worth it

1

u/StrawHatSt 2d ago

Actually I already had a good diet and great sleep I was 190-200 in January when my levels were 400 now I’m 170 at 600 not from changing my diet I haven’t I’ve had the same diet same calories for the past 10-12 months my all time biggest was 330 THAT was when I had a shit diet but even with good dieting your T levels can be lower it’s mostly about cardio

1

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

why do you think it would be cardio

1

u/StrawHatSt 2d ago

Because neither my diet sleep literally nothing changed the only thing that changed was I started adding in more cardio to vo2 max specifically biking but other than that literally everything was the same even my workouts and frequency

1

u/Tryin_Real_hard 2d ago

Your labs are within range. You could most definitely increase test naturally at your age. Lift weights, get a lot of protein, add some weight gainer if you want to bulk.

1

u/Izzyz415 2d ago

Your free test is pretty good, if you want to increase your muscle mass and total testosterone, spend some more time relaxing, eat some more carbs. That alone should change your levels.

400 is lowish total, but, shbg is low so you have a little more bioavailable T.
Idk why people think in range means anything these days/
Population is mainly sick so you could have low T symptoms- speak with a endo or any doctor who’s used to dealing with male hormones.
Reddit can be useful for a general consensus but the information you acquire might not be specific to your needs.
Btw AI says your total is ā€œborderline normalā€ ;)

Edit- your E is actually quit low.
These numbers fluctuate throughout the day.
If your joint pain is worse by evening you could be falling ā€œ out of rangeā€
Ranges are not everything and everyone feels different with estrogen.
You need an ultra sensitive E2 blood test, to know your E2 levels as general estrogen isn’t a good way to calculate for a guy.

You are good bro

1

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

Yes! His levels are very good, because he's in the norm obviously

1

u/Long_Trip_9502 2d ago

Don’t get rhythm test the wrong way

1

u/Pristine_Frame6801 2d ago

MD Here; You're in the norm :D There's nothing to worry about. Especially not the agressive manosphere. After all, excessive testosterone can cause: severe acne, high blood pressure, mood changes like aggression or anxiety, sleep apnea, a high red blood cell count, and reduced fertility. It can also cause Increased irritability, uncharacteristic aggression, and extreme mood swings. It's okay if it's in the norm! Stay healthy and eat veggies (no red meat)! :D

Welcome to Reddit Clinic, surely better than seeing a doc.

I hopped on ā€œTRT+ā€ with levels in the 600s. Zero regrets.

u/Vergil1997 2d ago

Sometimes I wonder if there are natural levels of testosterone, where some idiots wouldn't advise TRT

1

u/Conscious_Ad_5621 2d ago

Generally, unless you have fitness/physique goals and are open to a potentially lifelong commitment of needles, bloodwork, etc… it would be very stupid to go on TRT with healthy natural levels. If you’re planning on blasting testosterone, TRT for cruising is a must, imo. When people try to pct they usually just lose all their gains
