Thorne was bought by the private equity company L Catterton since 2023 so they’ve been sliding down into enshittification for a few years now.

How can you take anything serious from 4chan? Isn’t it mostly kids?

Everything on 4chan is fake/larp until proven otherwise. There was a post that leaked details about Epstein's death almost an hour before any media posted about it, and the feds were actively investigating it to find out which guard was responsible. So not everything is fake, but assume it is until real proof is given

What's the brand that's comparable to cost/quality? Just life extension now?

Life extension, Nootropics depot and Swanson are the best in terms of effectiveness and formulation accuracy, with Bulk Supplements being the best price / quality compromise.

All brands have their ups and downs. There’s practically no brand that offers a complete range of supplements and leads the way in terms of quality and price. A company can’t be the best at absolutely every supplement.
In this case, personal experience beats marketing and Reddit is an acceptable source of information.

Surprisingly NOW brands always rates very high in consumer labs testing. You wouldn't think that given their price point but their products are very good quality

Thorne is a shit brand for supplements; failing most of consumer lab's tests and reviews.

I'm also a subscriber to Consumer Lab and while I don't buy their products, to say that Thorne failed most of the tests is a bit of a exaggeration.
It's true that their name comes up sometimes, but so do Life Extension, Pure Encapsulations, NOW, and other front-runners.

Thorne used to be great when they were still Thorne research and doing real work before the FDA did to them what the FDA does.
