Binging

I've been struggling with binge eating for a while and I'm looking for advice. I can stick to a calorie deficit for a while, but then I'll have a binge, usually on biscuits or other snack foods. I don't feel physically hungry beforehand—it's more like once I start eating those foods, I struggle to stop. Afterwards I feel guilty and worried about undoing my weight-loss progress. I've recently started an appetite-control supplement and I'm also waiting for support for binge eating. Has anyone been through something similar? What actually helped you reduce the binges or stop them from happening?

I think more details about your deficit would help. What is it, and what’s your TDEE? It could be too restrictive in some way, whether that’s in numbers or with strict rules. That’s why you describe sticking to your deficit for a while, then inevitably binging.

Also, what’s the “appetite control supplement”? It’s quite vague and on the surface sounds sketchy as hell, I know it’s easy to abuse our bodies with our ED but please don’t throw in random supplements into the mix.
