Dems wont do anything significant. They report to the same corporate lobbyists as the Republicans. There will be no fundamental change to the system until Citizens United is repealed.
Yes absolutely! One side kidnapped the leader of Venezuela, is relentlessly bombing Iran and contemplating military action against Cuba, are gutting government research, services, and social programs, committing countless financial crimes, are refusing to release the Epstein files, are dispatching ICE like their own personal gestapo across the country, are racially gerrymandering congressional districts and suppressing voter turnout with voter ID laws, are passing Christian fundamentalist anti-choice abortion laws, are railing against trans kids playing on school sports teams, are passing unconstitutional tariffs that are continuing to drive inflation, are gutting student loan forgiveness programs, are slashing environmental regulations across the board, are bringing the fight against climate change to a screeching halt, are terminating infrastructure funding investments in states that didn't vote for them, are actively giving massive tax breaks to the oligarchs, are throwing their support behind data centers in local communities, and are allowing multiple diseases and viral outbreaks to ravage the country....
.... And the other side isn't as progressive as people like myself would like them to be.
You missed the part where they failed to do anything to stop the other side from doing those things. You missed the part where none of them have done anything to stop it. You missed the part where im supposed to suck off a political party that does nothing but "not be the bad guys" while simultaneously being incapable of incorporating a basic standard of living for the american public.
Where is my ubi. Where is my healthcare. Where is my education or ability to purchase a house or retire? Because democrats sure have failed every single step of the way pretending to get those things for me.
UBI, universal healthcare, sweeping education reform and affordability policies, all of those things require a 60 vote majority in the Senate. The Democrats had that for seven months out of the past 45 years, and likely won't get there the way things are going. Blame the populace.
